We where traveling and randomly drove through Austin MN. We like to try barbecue places so we just had to try Piggy Blues. Wow... so glad we did. It?s been a long time since we have had excellent barbecue. Great flavor and tasty sauce. We ordered thecombination of brisket and ribs with corn bread ( totally yummy) I had the potatoes and my husband had the coleslaw ( husbandsaid this was the best, most restaurant don?t know how to make coleslaw). This quaint place was recommended by an employee at the Spam Museum. She mentioned the gelato was home-made with new flavors... each day. We shared an appetizer Bourbon Taters which consisted of thinly sliced potatoes, deep fried, to a slight crisp but notas much as a potato chip. Then was covered with pulled pork, caramelized onions, and drizzled in BBQ sauce. Also had therecommended gelato. One cup of Strawberry & one of Coffee Toffee. Deliscious Brisket, didn't want to use the BBQ sauce and disguise the flavor. The beans were perfectly flavored, and cornbread!

After visited Spam museum, we came here for our lunch. With no exception we tried its famous Spam fries & sweet corn puffs. Very... special taste for the spam fries. Was visiting Minnesota and was taken here for lunch on a whim. The staff was very warm and friendly. Menu had interesting... options as well as humorous dish names and descriptions.
