Greatest as we walked in the door- host was our server so drinks ordered right away as well. Returned in swift manner and we... both ordered. Food was great and price was fair for what we ordered. Not rushed even though I felt like I camped in this poorguys section although no worries - he was also managing because he came to help for 2 weeks for Managment he worked for 6 yearsfor Applebee?s in past so turns out I had the super server this place must have because the entire visit I spent thereeverything was perfect - great non intrusive service and all done in a friendly accommodating manner. Bathroom was tidied andstocked when I excused myself after our meal. Restaurant over all was bussed pretty quickly if tables left- clean 5 min later.(Can you tell I was in in the restaurant bar business for 15 years - i even married the CIA executive chef from my downtownMinneapolis serving days- always working so that worked for us- at least 20 years anyways but that is another story!) My pointis, I know great service - i know how any sit down free standing restaurant should function and what to look for when it comesto the front of the house. Our food was fresh and hot and was presented nice for plate up and tables stocked and rolled silverand straw was there on my clean table and booth seats. Floors did not appear like it was after dinner rush time- restaurant as awhole was presented as there were way more servers and floor staff however only my server that was playing 4 job titles - he wasthe busser as well! If you're looking for awesome customer service, good food, & great drinks then Applebee's on West Highway 290 is the place!... Briana K, the server & cook did such an amazing job. She has such a pleasant personality & it's apparent that she knows thecustomers, several times she interacted with them on a 1st name basis. Once she came with our food I was so impressed that Iasked her to give my compliments to the chef--she said "I'll take credit for that". Then Grant, the GM assistant took customerservice to the next level. He greeted us when we first came in (before we had a server) he took our order & periodically walkedaround to check on us. We usually go out for lunch on Christmas Day and we going to try some other places but they were closed so we went here. We got... there before noon and were seated fast. No wait. The staff was very friendly and joyful even though they had to work on Xmasday. Our waitress was good and had a wonderful attitude. We all ordered the turkey dinner and they all came out pretty quick.The turkey was moist and tasted good. The mashed potatoes were a little ?thick? for me but tasted ok. The gravy was good and Idipped the turkey with each bite. The price wasn?t bad either $14.99. We left our waitress a very nice Xmas day tip. Read more

We recently ordered the 2 for $22 special from here. The food was hot and quantity was good. The pork ribs were chewy and the... sauce in the chicken wings was salty.The crispy onion rings were good . We ordered medium done steak but it was medium rare.Overall the experience was not great.
