Used to be great, maybe now it?s good for take out. Had been here a few times before. Had also seen it a few times on austin... top eats list recently ? came back to rekindle that love ? unfortunately it seems after covid some things are just not thesame. Not sure if management / kitchen staff changed or just harder to get same food products to keep quality. I will add thefalafel and cooked meats were still some of the best in town, we did however experience service that didn?t quite hit the mark? ambiance is not the same and outside of meats and falafel everything else was like sitting in a lubys. Probably the best Mediterranean restaurant in Austin. The food is always good, fresh, and tasty. Even if you order the same... thing consistently, you'll never be disappointed. The chicken, lamb, beef, and seafood dishes are always good. The vegetarianitems are good as well. Meat eater pizza is a must. Also, the family who owns the restaurant offers the best customer service. Read more

2022-Apt-05 Wonderful flavor here at Aroeggio Mediterranean Grill SEVERAL different imported and house made baklava to choose... among! Cardamom Green Tea available to take home (and I?ve not found similar elsewhere) We had great food and all we coulddrink at the self serve soda fountain There are even several low tables for no-chair dining if desired (and if encumbered bychildren) Interesting place with great food and great ambiance. Food was very good, quick, and hot. Very relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for a night out with that special someone or yourself. Sit... at a table or really engulf yourself in the mediterranean theme and take a seat on one of their comfy cushions on the floor.Either way, relax and enjoy! Read more
We ordered a variety of food in cute restaurant. Burger combo, white pizza, chicken shawarma and honey mustard wings. The... shawarma, burger and fries were really good. The Cheese on the pizza was really thick and chewy, not my favorite, but the crustwas delicious. The wings were not that great, very small and I didn't really like my choice of sauce. Quite shocked at the low quality and small portions for how highly rated this restaurant is. We had the gyros plate and the... chicken shawarma plate take-out. Unfortunately the food seemed to be leftovers from another day. The pita was dry and quitehard, the rice was plain long grain with no seasoning, and a few pieces of gyro dropped on top with tzatziki on the side. Therice seemed fresh but that?s about it. The restaurant seemed nice inside and nice people helping me, but the food was just badcompared to other places in Austin who serve the same cuisine. Read more
