Tonight was the first time I ever ordered from Bahama Buck?s. I ordered inside. As soon as I stepped in, I instantly smelled... mold or mildew. I looked up and see some blackening on the edge of the vent. Not just one but all 4 vents. I ordered the s?moresmoothie. When I took a sip it was too sweet. I have a sweet tooth but it was too sweet for me. I tried to finish it but Icouldn?t. Overall it was just a bad experience. I hope the management will look into cleanliness and quality check. Best shaved ice ever. They know how to make them right, but they sure don't know how to charge appropriately. I ordered natural... flavors, which basically means it has no color. Plain Jane, so-to-say... makes me mad that I had to pay .30 cents extra PERFLAVOR! WOW! Why not pay extra for color instead of for a Plain Jane, boring white snow with clear flavor? ???? I order from here weekly but this is the second time I've had awful customer service. I placed an order through their app to be... delivered and it was 10 minutes passed so I called them and the young girl denies my order was for delivery and says it's justgoing to sit there. She didn't offer to contact their third party delivery service nor would she cancel my order. In fact shelied and told me I had to cancel from my side and proceeded to tell me I had to contact door dash. I requested to speak to amanager of course she tells me there isn't one and starts raising her voice at me. I get paid decently to do customer service 10hours a day and I promise you if I had this mentality I'd be fired in a heart beat. There is nothing worse than awful customerservice in the service industry. So, be prepared if you place for delivery to not be reimbursed for your order. Read more
Really long wait times. Every time, no matter if its summer or winter. I don't get why it takes about 15 minutes per customer to... make their order. It's also extremely over priced. So, if you want to wait in line for about 45 minutes to get an $8 snowcone,you may like it. I personally think that there are better, more affordable, and speedier stops to get a cold treat inAustin. Edit- I just went through the drive through again to see if my experience was any different. It wasn't. It's how youguys do things. It took me almost an hour to get 1 drink. Bahama Bucks is my favorite snow cone place by far. They have SO many flavors, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Delicious snow... cones, and great staff, it?s honestly an amazing place. Read more
This place had no business being so good! Be prepared to wait in a long line here for your sweet treat. They use properly... shaved ice, so this will not melt immediately into sugar water like some other places. Add some ice cream in , you will notregret! Read more
