We live near this restaurant. We walked by it and saw the very cute outdoor seating area, decent parking, and the menu out front... so we thought what the hell we?ll give it a shot. It exceeded our expectations. This is not Uchi or other extremely fine dining. These five stars are based on a good solid decent restaurant with great vegetarian options, good service, and a good outdoorsetting. The service was good. The servings were ample, and we were all satisfied and full when we left. I got the curry bowland it was flavorful with delicious chunks of cauliflower, potato, etc.. for appetizers, we got the plum potato chips, bentoBrussels and rice croquettes and all three were good. The market salad was delicious. We also got three noodle bento boxes whichwere very good. We will be back. Read more

Quaint little spot with a unique take on Japanese cuisine. Tons of outdoor seating...very cool. The food is different from what... you're accustomed to and everything we tried was fantastic. Definitely in my top 5 in Austin as far as flavor, however you'regoing to pay for it. Expect a little sticker shock, but enjoy what you're getting... new flavors in a Bento Box full ofgoodness. I went there on a lunch date with my wife and it was a really nice atmosphere. The food did take about 30 mins to come out but... that is because they prepared it when ordered. The fish was very fresh but I must admit the rice was just a tad bit soggy(nothing too bad). The drinks were food and there was enough coverings for the hot day. The prices were a bit high but you payfor the atmosphere. I recommend this place for anyone needing a relaxing break from work or a lunch date. Read more

Really delicious. I got the soba with salmon and the brussel sprouts. I thought everything was delicious and well made. The... brussel sprouts were tasty and crispy. The soba was a bit soft (not as chewy as traditional soba) but I personally liked that. The salmon was cooked perfectly as well. Would definitely come again. Read more
