The food here is delicious! We had the steak taco and the bang bang shrimp taco - both were a hit! We were also surprised by the... generous portion size. I was able to make two tacos from one! These aren?t your typical over priced street tacos.\n\nAlso, theowners, John and Mimi, were such a sweet couple and they made our visit to The Blue Gecko a memorable one. Hands down the BEST shrimp tacos I\'ve ever had. The owner/chef was friendly and welcoming, even joined us for a friendly... conversation while we had our meal. Definitely coming back when in Austin again. Read more

Wow, I\'m so glad I pulled in and stopped here! The owners are super friendly and the food is great. I had a Cancun taco, and... the shrimp was delicious--perfectly cooked and nicely balanced with a yummy coleslaw and bits of pineapple, then drizzled in aspicy sauce. And the corn tortillas! I\'m not a usually a huge fan, but these are delicious. They\'ll be coming out with churrosand ice cream in a few weeks and I can\'t wait to go back. Definitely worth the trip! Read more

Great food truck for tacos. The nachos are great and this time we tried the Texas taco and the Cancun Shrimp.\n\nUpdate:... Unfortunately the food truck is no longer at this location and I do not know if it is still open somewhere else. Their web pageshows you can still order food online but I have not attempted to to this. Read more
