This is my second time dining in at this restaurant. First time experience was great, this time was subpar. The food is ALWAYS... amazing and fresh, however the service was meh. Waitress never checked in on us, didn\'t explain to us what one of the rollswere and gave it to the wrong person, and she also charged the wrong card for our split check.\n\nI have only really tried theirsushi/sashimi/apps.\n\nCalamari: 6/10 not enough batter and lacked flavor\nSpicy edamame: 10/10 great for sharing andtasty\nSeared scallop 10/10: you need to order\nSeared salmon: 9/10 you also need to order\nHamachi 10/10 also need toorder\nFatty tuna (kama something) 10/10 if you want to splurge $22 per order that comes with 2 pieces sushi\nJapanese snapper8/10: still good but not my fav\n\nAuto grat for party\'s of 5+\n\nThe thing I dislike the most is that they have these gianttvs all along the sushi bar which gives it sports bar vibes. They also play the strangest music that\'s turned up way too high,feels like I\'m just yelling across the table. New sushi restaurant near sunset valley in Austin! I?m always up for trying new sushi restaurants.\n\nWe love ordering several... rolls and sharing family style! Great way to taste everything. Bluefin is our favorite sushi spot. The menu is extensive without being complicated. The fish is so fresh its practically still... swimming! We go at least twice a month if not more. We also bring our baby and are welcomed without any worry of beingconsidered bothersome. I also want to mention the beer and saki options are great to. Amazing! Featured in the photos is the miso ramen with chicken, rainbow roll, miso soup and seaweed salad. This is now the best... ramen I have had in Austin. The broth was delectable, bold and full of flavor. The chicken was tossed in a teriyaki type saucewhich complimented the ramen very well. The sushi tasted fresh as well as the other items. The staff was friendly and even gaveme a fresh miso soup to take home! Definitely adding this to my go-to places and will be back. Especially a great catch sincethey have BOTH great sushi and great ramen, which is a hard find. Read more
Wow! I was blown away by the quality and customer service at this place! I stumbled upon Bluefin as my typical sushi place was... extremely busy and understaffed at the time, but I\'m so glad I did! My boyfriend and I were able to be seated immediately on avery busy memorial day weekend and that was just the beginning of e delicious lunch. We each ordered 2-3 rolls each along with acouple of appetizers and every single item that was placed in front of us was the best version of that item I\'ve ever day. Youcan tell how fresh the seafood was, the sushi rice was cooked/seasoned to perfection, and the overall aesthetic of therestaurant was clean and inviting. 10000% making this my new sushi spot and can\'t wait to come back! We stopped in Bluefin for dinner. We ordered their crab puffs, Killer Shrimp ramen and Killer Beef Rib ramen. Phenomenal! It was... all so good! Might be my new favorite ramen place in Austin. Staff was super friendly. Our food was nice and hot when it wasbrought to us. We didn?t have to wait long either, considering the restaurant was packed. Definitely check it out! Read more
Staff are attentive and welcoming, I had a big portion of lamb ramen and my husband had sushi tuna roll and chicken karage. We?d... love to try other stuff that they have on the menu.
