The picture below is a picture of the meal I ordered. Beef curry - I hoped this restaurant changed its ways with the small... portions but today was the worst experience. 1. My beef curry has nothing but fat, no meat. 2. Where is the quality in allmeals, the consistency? 3. This is not a bad restaurant but it needs great improvement with its quality & customersatisfaction. Recommendations Do not provide customers with fat as a meal and think it?s okay. Improve quality and consistencywith your meals! Customer satisfaction needs to be improved to keep customers returning I will no longer order after this. Igave this restaurant chance after chance but no more. I threw the entire meal away. Another thing I reviewed on GH from thisrestaurant is the portions. Ordered from DoorDash. Thumbs up on speed, the garlic chicken. A meh to everything else? pad Thai, crab Rangoons, mango sticky... rice, and crab fried rice. The sticky rice was a bit gummy. The crab fried rice needed a little something, and the pad Thai wasgood but a little sweet. I am half Thai and have lived in Thailand so I know my standards are high. ?Wow?. Those were the words uttered out of my mouth when I recently ordered Charoen to-go for dinner. Unbelievable. The food... exceed expectations and more. What I got was: - Drunken Brisket: they take linguini noodles, add basil, stir them in garlic,and add Smokin Beauty's brisket for a rich, flavorful dish that blew my mind. It contrasts so well. This one is a limited timecollab, so don?t miss out on it!! - Pad Thai: what can I say? This may have been some of the best pad Thai I?ve ever had aswell. This one differs from the drunken brisket because it?s more light and a variety of tangy, spicy, and sweet flavors. - TomYum Soup: this hot and sour soup was interesting. It comes with an array of herbs such as lemongrass and kaffir lime leaf whichmade it a light, herbal dish. It was my first time having tom yum, too! - Mango Sticky Rice: this was my first time ever havingmango sticky rice. I always been hesitant about the dish, but it actually went down better than I thought. The rice is sweet,not savory, so it works. It comes with a coconut cream to top off too. You gotta get this! Charoen Express isn?t your ordinaryThai restaurant though!There?s no dine-in as they are a ghost kitchen! Which means they only operate through online orders fromGrubHub, DoorDash, UberEats, Favor, etc. I wouldn?t think too much on this as it?s not an indication of quality. In fact, it?s asmart way for newer businesses to see if their ideas can be successful since they pay less rent than a traditionalestablishment. I was a little hesitant because of some of the reviews but I'm so glad i tried it. Pad Thai portion is enormous and delicious.... Tangy with a little bit of heat. Spring rolls were a little messily made but really good too. The order was ready really quick,I'll definitely be coming back. Read more
