Pains me to do this as chik-fil-a normally has top notch service?but this location sucks. I ordered for pick up online, checked... in when I arrived, and then proceeded everyone to get served but me. Seems they set my order aside, never called my name, andthat was that. After enough people were served before me I went up to ask and was rudely greeted by some kid. Have him my nameand sure enough my order was there, they just never called me name. When I asked said kid what happened, he turned his back tome and muttered something. No thanks or sorry or anything, just his back while I was talking to him. It?s unfortunate toobecause I work right across the street but I hesitate to go back because of the disrespect I get there. Service was excellent! Food was hot, coffee was not fresh but the staff member made me fresh cup! And I'm from Houston
Ordered the chicken nugget meal, and they didn't give me the fries with the order. Ok, no big deal, go up to the counter to get... the fries. Nope, the cashier charged me for a full meal, but forgot to add fries, so now, after paying over $8 for the meal,they now demanded I pay another $2.50 for the fries. I was given the option of pay more or just eat what I had, so I went withthe 3rd option of nope, you effed up my order, take it back and give me a refund. This is not the first time this has happenedto me at thos location, and I noticed that a lot of other people were complaining about messed up orders and were gettingpushback for asking to make things right. I?ve been to this location multiple times and normally it?s good, that?s the only reason I?ve given more than one star. Tonight... the grilled chicken was rubbery and the lettuce was wilted. Which by itself I?d forgive, but paired with the unprofessionalattitude below, I had to write a review. Teens behind the counter were obnoxiously loud. I?m a high school teacher, I get it.But if I?m sitting in the opposite corner of a restaurant I shouldn?t be able to hear your conversation word for word. Thefirst conversation was of the two teenage boys making attempts at picking up their female coworker. The words exchanged were notpleasant or appropriate. While she laughed it off, it still isn?t okay. The second conversation was, in my opinion,worse. They started to make fun of a coworker or customer (couldn?t tell) who apparently has a disability and they werelaughing about his mannerisms, how he has to repeat words, and has a lisp. They referred to him by name, which somehow makesthis worse. The conversations died down anytime customers were in line, but they paid no regard to the dine in customers likemyself. I understand it?s a slow weeknight in a downtown venue, but that?s not an excuse. I?m appalled by their behavior notjust as employees, but as human beings. Read more
