The MOST authentic, delicious and quality Szechuan Chinese food I?ve found in Austin? and trust me I?ve tried them all. What I... appreciate most is they don?t americanize the true Chinese dishes and the flavors and spice levels are 100% authentic. On top ofthat, the value of this place is ridiculous, you can?t find the portions for these prices and quality anywhere else here. I?mhonestly so happy they opened and even though I love south we?ve driven up every weekend to eat here. Yes the food takes alittle longer so be prepared to just enjoy the company, good things take time. The entire staff is also very friendly and notonly does the food satisfy my cravings, but it brings me a little bit of nostalgia every time. Today, we had lunch at this restaurant to celebrate one friend's birthday, ordered 8 dishes and 1 dessert, they are all so... delicious, especially the bullfrogs and sweet sour fish, I can not find any restaurant which has these two dishes with bettertaste. Highly recommend. But please go earlier if you want to order these two dishes, because order is limited every day, andduring lunch or dinner time, they are too busy, you may need to wait long time if you go at weekend. We ate dinner tonight for the first time. Service was very prompt and friendly. The steamed dumplings were delicious. We had... Shrimp with Mixed Vegetables and Beef with Green Peppers. Both were generous servings and tasted great. Definitively worth avisit! Read more
A very authentic Chinese restaurant! I was amazed by their tastes. I forgot to take pictures of all of our dishes because I was... lost in eating and enjoying the foods. I didn't like ?? but their dish made me love it! (Forgot to take pictures of thatdish...) I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes spicy foods. If you don't like spicy, you could still give it atry as well because there are other options too. We have been to China family at Anderson Lane couple times lately, and we really enjoyed our delicious and authentic Chinese... food. We have Hot and Sour Soup, dry Fried Green Beans. Eggplant with Garlic Sauce, Three Pepper With Frog Legs, Griddle CookedLamb, Griddle Cooked Cauliflower, Sichuan Lamb on Iron Plate, Fish Fillet With Diced Chinese Pepper and Fish Fillet in ChiliOil. Third location for china family and so far the best location. Clean and modern. All the dishes are done excellently. Ask for... some off the menu item and you will have surprises with authentic chinese food. Due to the soft opening, the staff is workinghard despite the slow service. Read more
