A delicious meal & great service. This place is a prime example of don?t judge a book by its cover, the outside looks a little... run down, the inside isn?t much but the food was great! If I could rate this place 10 stars I would! First time visiting Austin & happy to have this recommendation. Fresh chips with... salsa while you wait for your food is a great touch! The quesadilla with chicken, rice and beans was absolutely delicious!!! Theskinny Margarita was a perfect drink to round off a great meal. Very reasonable prices and generous portions. We were looking for some good Tex-Mex and Chuy's delivered. The place is a little rundown, but the food and service made up for... it. We went early afternoon so it wasn't too busy, but I hear they get really busy at peak times. The salsa was very good, andeven though I liked the chips I prefer a thicker chip. Our server was excellent and checked on us numerous times. The steakburrito meat was tender, and the green sauce covering the burrito was spicy but added great flavor. Recommended! Read more
I ordered the chicken burrito with TexMex sauce. The food was piping hot, fresh, and the rice was a great texture, soft, moist... and everything tasted flavorful, no salt needed. My grandmother and aunt ordered the vegetarian enchiladas and they loved theirmeals! The chips were perfectly crispy, thin and lightly salted. The salsa was surprisingly spicy bc the color of the salsa wasnot super red, but not too spicy. I think that?s how you know the salsa is freshly made and with fresh ingredients. Read more
