Reviews for CoCo's Cafe in Austin, TX

Coco's makes some of the most consistently good boba tea in town. The only draw back is their location. Because they are on... campus, they occasionally will be so busy that they are not able to quickly make all their orders, which is obviously not theirfault. Otherwise, good tea, usually fresh boba and quick service. Read more

The tea is alright, but I think the main appeal is the food they serve. It's pretty filling and delicious too, though they don't... give you enough rice to compliment the meat. The spicy noodle bowl isn't spicy at all, though tasty. It's also not a great placeto sit and study in, as it often gets busy and cramped, so go to a different cafe if you're looking for a place to concentrate. Read more

We came across this place on a trip to San Antonio. Excellent boba and great food. Highly recommend. We got watermelon cream,... watermelon slush, and their fried chicken. ???? Read more

Horrible customer experience!!! They really need to consider the staff they have representing their store. Very rude and... disrespectful female employee. I have never had someone so blatantly rude and bold. For their service, a 1 star rating isgenerous. I stood there as she made the drinks and waited to order before the store was closed. When I went to order she saidthe store closed a minute earlier although I had been standing in front of her for at least 10 mins. When I objected, she statedshe is not making another drink when it would have taken 3 seconds to throw a milk tea together. Super rude. Not worthpatronizing no matter how good the product if this is the treatment you can receive. Plenty of other options offering the samething on the same street. Go elsewhere. Read more

Very expensive and extremely sweet! I bought a Thai tea and it was over $6. The boba was either over cooked or had been sitting... in the mixture for an extremely long time because it was all mushy. Also, the employees were rude for no apparent reason. Istood at the counter for like 2 minutes before I was acknowledged even though they saw me walk in. Next time I?ll be sure to goto Kung Fu Tea because it?s better and cheaper. Read more

So many memories are created here. Love coming back here when in Austin. ???? Friendly and fast service. Great drink... selections, and they are all very delicious (not too icy and watery). My favorite is Peppercorn Chicken with Rice. It's verycrispy but not too oily, perfect with pickled vegetables. Yum! Read more

Ordered boba here once, but today decided to dine in and order some lunch. I ordered the fried chicken curry. $14. They brought... it out hot and fast. It was pretty good for a decent price and made me full. It was fried battered chicken. It comes withsteamed rice and pickled vegetables. I liked the pickled vegetables. The curry could have had slightly more flavor, but overall, the dish was good. There boba drinks are more popular! Read more

For a first-time customer, I'm sold! I ordered a small coconut milk tea, half sugar, and boba. Even with less sweetness, the... milk tea was decently sweet (maybe even still a hair too sweet). It was refreshing and the tapioca pearls had the perfecttexture! The small sized portion was perfect for me who can't finish large drinks. I love the cute cups they use and theinterior of the cafe was cozy and cute, great for hanging out. Can't wait to visit again and taste the other menu items! Read more
