The first thing that came out of my mouth when I left this restaurant last night was, "quality." Everything starting from the... kids drawing paper to the to-go containers are of quality. Beautiful, beautiful setting with lots of greenery and the water. Theserver was attentive and service was surprisingly fast for a Saturday evening. My toddler was delighted to see the swansswimming in the lake. Food was excellent EXCEPT the beef ribs. They didn't cheap out on the meat on the queso. Smoked chickenwas delicious and so was the marbled brisket. Pork ribs were fall of the bone and flavorful. The beef ribs however, were on thedry side and not as tender. But everything else was so on point that I am thinking "it was just a bad day" and more than willingto give the beef ribs another shot the next time. Oh and don't forget to order their bread. We will return! Thank you for abeautiful evening! Read more

Wow! If you're a local or visiting Austin and you want delicious BBQ, this is the place. I started with brisket tacos and I... could not say enough about these. I would've been content having the brisket tacos as my entree, they were that good. However, Idid have the beef ribs and they were also delicious. I highly recommend this place for BBQ, Brisket, Ribs, and all the fixings.Staff is friendly, dress is casual, and prices are fair. Oh, and the view is amazing and relaxing. Read more

Absolutely great BBQ. This is on my personal list of best BBQ places to go in and around Austin. Very cool vibe and they have a... waterfront seating area. You can also feed some turtles while checking out the water front area. Wait staff is very friendlyand the establishment kept clean. Don’t forget to try their deserts which are super yummy. We visited County Line BBQ by the Lake during the Memorial weekend for lunch. The place was crowded as expected but fortunately,... we made an online reservation the night before, so got seated as soon as we arrived. We got their famous homemade bread (sogood) and 1/2 Lb sausage (great taste and not greasy) as appetizers and decided to go for 5 Meat Smokehouse Combo, so that Icould try all the meats. The service provided was good and so was the food we ordered. The price is towards a higher range butstill an excellent choice for a special occasion. Read more

What a great barbecue restaurant. The wait is pretty short and the servers very friendly. They have a reasonable amount of... parking. They have indoor seating, outdoor patio and a separate section for special occasions. The patio overlooks Bull creek andif you have a boat you can pull up and dock. There are swans to feed and always dozens of turtles floating around to feed also.Their food is fresh, tasty and consistent although its one of the more expensivebarbecuerestaurantsin the Austin area. They havea full bar. This place is kid friendly and on the patio it's pet friendly. The outside seating is smaller so if you want to sitoutside be prepared for a bit of a longer wait. Overall you can't go wrong choosing County Line as your next BBQ adventure. Read more

I had the 2 meat combo: the moist brisket with pork ribs (for an extra charge), and a whole bunch of Old Fashioned cocktails.... Both the ribs and the brisket were incredible. The bbq sauces were delicious as well. The side-dishes (especially the coleslaw)were absolutely spot on. Then I tried their bread pudding which was extraordinary. Great food, great service - highlyrecommended. Read more

Wonderful BBQ restaurant with a great outdoor patio overlooking the water. The vibe is very relaxing and casual with great... attentive service and most importantly delicious BBQ. It was so nice to sit on the patio overlooking the water and enjoyingamazing Texas BBQ. While I love all the County Line BBQ restaurants, this one has a great ambience with outdoor seatingoverlooking the River. We went there to celebrate a birthday. Highly recommend. Would love to go back next time I’m in Austin. Read more

First time I have eaten here. I was surprise on how much was on the Menu. So of course I needed to try the brisket and sausage... plate. The plate came with 3 sides and 2 choices of meat for $18.99. Average price for Central Texas BBQ. I was, unfortunately, not impressed. I’ve worked for a Czech-American family owned BBQ restaurant for 7 years I’ve come to know Central Texas BBQvery well. I will say that the bartender that took care of my was very nice and attentive. She even cleaned off a table for meso I could watch the game without me even asking. I will be going back to try other entrees on the menu because of her. Shoutout to the ones in the restaurant business that are working hard during this crazy pandemic. Much love. Read more
