Online ordering only so make sure you are good with that. This a food truck parked next to Radio Coffee and Beer. There is... some outdoor seating. I had the Pad KaPow. Let me say the spice level is no joke. Normally if I go to a Thai restaurant Iwill order 2 or 3 stars. I can take some amount of spice and be fine. On the Dee Dee ordering website it said something to theeffect of ?1 is the lowest level but it?s still spicy?. I ordered 1. It was actually just about perfect for me. I would sayit?s what I would expect for a 3 or 4 star dish somewhere else. Just a warning though. I don?t know if I would have liked it ifit was much spicier. It was really good and would be willing to go back and try something different. Read more

Love this spot! I sometimes go to Radio Coffee & Beer just so that I can have some food from Dee Dee. The food truck is owned by... a really sweet family and the ingredients are high quality. All of their entrees are packed with flavor and are decently sizedportions. Most importantly, the Mango & Sticky Rice dish here is absolutely AMAZING and one of my favorite desserts in ALL ofAustin (seasonal because of the mango, of course). Give this place a try and support local! Read more

I wanted to try this place since I saw their videos on YouTube. It's hard to find authentic food and the hunt for good thai food... in Austin is real. So far, out of 5 restaurants tried, there's only 1 I would go back to. It is located in a very popular spotRadio Coffee and cocktails, where you can come enjoy drinks, a nice and spacious patio and 3 food trucks including Dee Dee. Wetried the famous papaya salad (with the pungent crab which might be too strong for some but I personally love it!), the laab mooand the Mango sticky rice. Everything was packed of flavors and super fresh. Warning : it????is????spicy????! Even going downfrom 8 chilies to 6 chilies for the papaya salad, it made me cry... Make sure to have a drink near by or you will be dying whileeating. Read more

Online order only, which was kind of annoying but I get it since they run out of food fast. Ordered the pad kapow, laab moo,... skewers, and mango sticky rice. The pad kapow and laab moo were SO SALTY. I'm unsure if this is how Thai food is supposed to be,but I was straight up not having a good time eating the main entrees. The skewer was not bad, tastes like a standard porkskewer. The mango sticky rice was okay, didn't really wow me. I prefer my mango sticky rice with some sort of crunch element, such as toasted sesame seeds. Overall, overrated and overhyped place unless you enjoy your food on the saltier side. I'd comeback for the mango sticky rice maybe. Read more
