GREAT food, but not open until 1 AM. (12:35 am already been closed). Not a dealbreaker, you should definitely go, but... disappointing because we love their food and we were looking forward to that pork belly, tofu, and beet fries after a long day. Read more

Freaking incredible. Eastside King has been around forever and is a legitimate Austin institution. I?ve not been disappointed... with a single thing I?ve eaten here. Bold and unique flavors, done exquisitely well. Love the beet fries, karaage, and Brussels???? Read more

I used to go here back when Paul Qui actually worked the trailer. It was incredible and packed all the time. For years I came... here regularly. Decided to return for nostalgia last night and was disappointed to say the least. I?m glad Liberty has held onin this growth spurt of Austin. But the food experience was just bad. You order from a QR code. I got the famous fried chickenand side of rice. The chicken was $13 and consisted of five pieces of the most overdone chicken I?ve ever eaten. It was rockhard. It used to have this gooey stick yummy sauce on it, but this came with that orange sauce you get from Chinese restaurantson the side. The flavor wasn?t the same and just straight up thought it was awful. The rice was equally as dry so got some extrasauce to pour over it. Coulda been a one off night but I read that it?s now owned by some corporate conglomerate so it makessense. Just wanted to share with anyone who used to frequent this spot! You may be disappointed. I really enjoyed the food here! The beet fries were so yummy!! And the chicken sandwich had such a great amalgamation of... flavors. I can?t wait to try more. Someone next to me got the chicken and rice and it looked and smelled amazing. Read more

Sits behind Liberty Bar (took a second for us to figure out where the place was). Tried the Spicy Chicken Sando. Really awesome... flavors. I?m a fan of how straightforward their menu and ordering system is. Excited to try other menu items! Read more

Woah. Wasn?t expecting to have the best karage of my life but it happened. Seriously. Was going to go for the pork belly buns... but the lady behind the counter recommended these and I am so glad she did!!!! Right amount of spice, fresh basil, beautifullycrisp, and so much flavor! Do it. Get the karage!!!!! Read more

One of the first food trucks in Austin to truly steal my heart! The brussel sprout salad is a standout, but you can't go wrong... with their eclectic but concise menu. Read more

I went here right before closing and had a decent fried chicken sandwich that was just overseasoned with pepper. Perhaps that's... the result of the staff being tired at the end of the night. The beet home fries were pretty good. Read more
