Reviews for Hillside Farmacy in Austin, TX
Food was quite delicious. Chicken salad was on point but I thought I could make better at home. Cured meat and cheese board was... VERY nice, typical over priced Austin Faire. Ended up paying almost $60 for 2 entrées and drinks. Probably won't go back but itwas definitely a good experience, would recommend to anyone visiting Austin for the weekend. Read more
It is a lovely place to have breakfast or brunch, the place was a pharmacy years ago so it has an vintage and old vibe that I... loved. The bathroom was really cool too. I really recommend the pancakes, they're delicious. The waitress was really nice.Prices are not exactly cheap but nothing crazy and we waited for about 40-50min to get a table. Read more
Mediocre at best. Was really excited to try this place but ultimately was disappointed. Service was really bad. We sat outside... and it took so long for our waiter to get to us to order drinks and food. Drinks came out 20 minutes or more after we orderedthem. Food was good, but nothing super special that made this place stand out. Wouldn’t come again. Read more

Hillside farmacy is a super cute, hip spot for brunch. It is never not busy, so prepare for a little bit of a wait, luckily... it’s next door to a couple boutiques that will help you kill some time. All plates were smaller portion so if you’re extrahungry maybe you’ll need to order double. Service was prompt and friendly. Punch was light and delicious, I ended up orderinga carafe of it! Shrimp and grits had great texture and hearty without feeling heavy. I had room for dessert which is a prettyrare event but I was glad I did. I wish I could have a casserole sized plate of it so I could pick at it while working from home Read more
The pancakes are phenomenal, probably the best I’ve ever had! The bacon also was perfect. The shrimp grits had a nice Cajun... flavoring. I didn’t understand why one egg cost $4 though - that was a bit outrageous. All in all, great quality food. Read more
This place is so cool if your into vintage, it’s awesome how some of the original fixtures and things were kept from the 50s.... The food and the service was great. Definitely will go back to try the fries and grilled cheese???? Read more
1st time eating here. The hostess Kiara greeted me with a smile. They offer indoor & outdoor dining. After placing my order I... didn't have to wait long for my food. I recommend the crab cake & roasted chicken breast ???? Read more
