Good food! The service is pretty fast, the dishes come put fairly quickly. They have a pretty good selection of Chinese... drinks/beer! Overall, I’d say it’s one of the best Chinese food I tried in Austin. Definitely for the eggplants and fish. The rest wasn’t exceptional, but for Austin’s standards, this place is up there. Read more

The chef was cookin like his life depends on it! place has been on my list for a while but I wasn't too sure about going because... Chinese food has not really set itself apart here in Austin for me and some of the reviews here made me alittle worried but I'mso glad we went! The place is small tho and the process of getting a table is abit confusing but it's a QR code process Dishesin photo: Chicken Dumplings, chicken in garlic sauce, country style bacon, and I forgot but it's something like ribs each onewas great! One of the finest Sichuan food we had after long time. It’s a small place, easy to access, very polite people, quality n... quantity is good. The real authentic Sichuan if you want to try in Austin, this is the place, highly recommend. We ordered MalaBeef, Chicken in Garlic Sauce, Vegetarian fried rice, everything was super tasty. LOVE this place! We first discovered it online for takeout. Authentic with the wok hay flavor! Kisses to the chef and owner,... always accommodating and no frills. Fish with green mustard is our fave and THE best pig intestines and kidney dishes (if youlike innards). We've been here a few times now and we'll keep coming back. Everything is so savory and the perfect texture.Being Chinese American from NYC and moving to TX, it's tough to find authentic Chinese food here. House of Three Gorges is oneof our top picks. We wanted to try Sichuan food on a cold windy night to warm us up and this place is highly recommended by locals. If you are... looking for authentic Sichuan cuisine, you only have to scan the room and the customers seated to know that this place islegit. I don't know much about Sichuan gastronomy but followed some yelp reviews. The wontons in spicy soup were handmade andvery flavorful without being too spicy. The eggplant dish was delicious and my favorite, the size of the portion is also good toshare. The crispy and spicy intestines are a favorite of my husband but were very very spicy (believe me, I'm no stranger tospice but boy..it was very spicy). Overall, a good address, I would recommend to look at photos and reviews before orderingbecause the menu can be a little cryptic. Read more

The second authentic Chinese restaurant I found in Austin and it’s the best so far. They have a really nice menu with various... dishes in my favorites list and I’ll visit them few times more to try everything. We had the eggplant in garlic sauce, drypot cauliflower and lamb cabbage pot. All were well spiced, delicious and fresh. They take a bit longer time to cook which isactually a good sign so if you’re too hungry, you may first get appetizers. Read more

Loved the food. Authentic Chinese food is hard to come by. Three Gorges does it with a spicy bang. Loved every dish I have tried... so far. This is easily going to be one of my regular stops! The food is cooked fresh and seasoned beautifully. Read more
