We loved our first visit to Hudson's and are already looking forward to our next meal there! The watermelon salad was... outstanding, and the mixed grill plate was impressive and delicious. The crunchy trout was unlike anything I've had before -highly recommend! It was the perfect crunch without overpowering the trout itself. We had a large group for a Birthday Dinner. Perfect martinis at the bar, several courses at the table, including a birthday... dessert & after dinner drinks. Every single plate & detail was superb. Hannah ran her butt off keeping the drinks & deliciousfood coming for our foodie group. The bartenders were all fantastic too. What a delight! The food was spectacular, the waitstaff attentive and friendly, and the restaurant itself pleasant. A great... special-occasion destination! We had the duck with scallops, lamb, venison, and shrimp/pasta dishes, and all were unimpeachable.Desserts were also wonderful; we particularly liked the cheese cake with apples and caramel. Had some out of town visitors and since we hadn't tried out Hudson after their reopening we decided to dine here. We were... slightly worried at first as we've got a 2.5 year old, but this was actually a really great place to come even with a kid. I hadthe elk tenderloin which was amazing and cooked perfectly and my wife had the duck and scallop. Both dishes were cooked andseasoned perfectly, and the sides were also the perfect portion and flavored well. Our son had the Mac and cheese which was alsoperfect. The service was also just as good as I had remembered, but the best part of the night was Lisa entertaining our sonwhile I took him outside waiting for the food. Great staff and great food. Loved the food and service. The cocktail prices at the bar were shockingly high though. We paid almost 40 dollars for two... old fashions without any asking of preference of Bourbon. Food wise, We both had the elk and it was amazing. The friedavocado was delicious also. This is a special night out place and worth a drive. Read more
The environment is good, the outdoor seating is very romantic, the live music is played every evening, which is more suitable... for a romantic candlelight dinner, where there may be a beautiful encounter. Read more
Delicious! I got the Elk Tenderloin, and it was great. Not gamey tasting, very tender, and came with a delicious sauce. We loved... it. They gave us dessert on the house for our anniversary. Will definitely be back! Read more
Hudson’s Fine Dining Haiku: Great for a date night Cozy quiet atmosphere Exotic dishes Lots of excellent options, the food... was deletions, service was great. We went on a Thursday night and it was not crowded at all. Only downsides were the online menuis not reflective of current menu- so don’t get your hopes up for the gnocchi w/halibut. They were also out of several itemslike the rattlesnake- which was a bummer because where else is anyone going to try rattlesnake. They do have live musicregularly and it was excellent.
