Gotta log a bad review, unfortunately. The last few orders I?ve had with them didn?t go well. For one, their cook had already... left for the night (24 hrs??) but the manager luckily ?decided? to cook the order. The next order, the cook had already left(again) and they cancelled the order. Ordered just now and they were out of Belgian waffles?so I told the favor driver to justleave it off, no biggie. IHOP told the driver they don?t have a way to remove items and I would just have to sub in other itemsthat they do have. Really wish there was another late night diner down here. Read more
Worst service. There was 2 of us and we were waiting on 1 more person just 1 more person. And we could not get seated until our... other person showed up. So called ?manager? said those were her rules. That we were robbing from the servers because we werejust going to sit down for hours. So what ? We are paying for a service! She did not know if we were going to leave a $1 tip ora $50 tip. That would deppend on service provided. Manager told us to leave saying they would not serve us anymore. Really badexperience . Very crowded but since there was only 2 of us we got seated pretty quickly, and the food was very good
9 of us waited over 30 minutes before leaving Saturday after game.. 2 tables one with 6 people one with 5 people only two... servers busy according to hostess that why we had to wait for them to finish eating.. there was probably 17 empty tables ladywould not sit us down we left Read more
IHOP used to be a place for reliable late night food in the area, but lately wait times have been too long to bother and it's... clearly a staffing issue. I highly suggest upping the ante on pay and benefits to attract more workers. Hats off to the cooks,servers, hosts and everyone else keeping the operation running, but management has a lot of work to do to. Football season isupon us, I'm not confident this location is going to be able to keep up with their staffing issues. Read more
I did not like the service. The waitress look like she did not want to be there. I explain to her what I wanted to do. That was... to order our meal first then have our short stacks later. She ended up bringing our meal and one short stack together. I had toget up and go ask for the other short stack after I was done eating. She was nowhere to be found I had to call out to threetimes before someone answered me in the back. She never came and asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks or even to ask if wewanted something else on top of our pancakes. I waited and waited watched my husband eat his pancakes while I was waiting formine. I was so very irritated with this young lady that you all call a waitress. This is one of the worst location here inAustin. Ever time I go to this location which is close to my house. I get better service at Denny?s than at this location. My husband and I were trying to find a late night dinner spot after our concert and we tried two other places that were closed... due to staff shortages. Struggle is real apparently! This IHOP was going to close too due to maintenance - but they let us sneakin and hurry up. So generous of them! They could have easily sent us on our way. The whole staff including the cooks wereamazing! The manager helped with drinks, appetizer orders, etc and was running around helping the only two servers on that late.Our server was outstanding. She was sweet, attentive, cheerful, and made sure our drinks were never out! We were blown away howawesome our service was and want to thank this location for helping our late night craving. Sad....this used to be a great IHOP, but it's not the first time it's taken a really long time to be greeted at the door, let... alone sat at a table. This last time, no one ever came. We stood by the entry and multiple team members even looked at us fromthe kitchen, and no one bothered to say anything to us. I understand staffing concerns but just ignoring customers seems likepoor business practice. Doubtful we'll be returning in the future, and if you do decide to go here, you better not be in ahurry.
