We had lunch here. I had the green chili burger with a side salad and my husband had the beef enchiladas. My burger was... perfectly cooked and my husband said the beef and sides were really good and our server was friendly and fast. Our second timeto eat there was for dinner. Once again the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I had the shrimp tacos, my husband had theruby trout, my daughter-in-law had the steak salad, and my son had the pork medallions. Jack Allen’s is an iconic Austin destination. My family has been eating here for years. It’s a great place for family get... togethers or just hanging out on the patio for brunch. They make great cocktails and the margaritas are a big draw for myfamily. I like the Mexican Martini. The food is always delicious and the have a friendly waitstaff that is well trained andservice is normally excellent. Whole30 supper successfully created with the assistance of the fantastic server and chef at Jack Allen's kitchen. I had an... amazing salmon, crab salad with tomatoes and tomatillo sauce. They gave me vinegar and oil to compliment it, per my request.Then they provided me a cup of sliced apples and pears upon my request. Love eating at this restaurant! The margaritas are delicious and so is the food. We had the Tejana enchiladas and buttermilk... fried chicken salad…both were delicious. Good service, great patio, lush green views from the restaurant, overall a greatlunch spot! Read more

Given our temporary residence location, this is an excellent spot! More than just food, but it's a comfort spot. Has a bar so... drink options are plentiful. Plenty of parking front and back, no issues there. Once inside they are always fast to find you atable or booth. I've never had to make a reservation. I am not super excited with their food menu. But the items I order,they were good. For some reason, I really don't like their mash potatoes. Two out of two so far just didn't taste right tome. All and all, definitely great spot to come back to, kids like it too. Read more
This place was highly recommended by my wedding venue staff from Eloped at Austin. We had our early dinner here after my... wedding. The staff was amazing. My server was extremely amazing and exceed my expectations! What an amazing server she is. Ican't remember her name, but we were there Sunday 1/16/22 party of 8. The food was delicious and exceed all of our expectations!The blondie pie was to die for! My husband loved it! The black cherry mojitos was amazing! All of my family loved their foodtoo! Went there to grab a quick bite for lunch, they offer creative American classic plates like Pesto-marinated Crab stuffed... chicken, Baja style fish tacos, Burgers, salads, etc. I asked Madison, my server, for a suggestion and she pointed me towardsthe Chorizo Stuffed Pork Tenderloin Medallions and what a great suggestion… the amount of food was perfect, flavor wasamazing, and service was great!
