Seafood pancake is always fried to a crisp and large amount of seafood. Eggs were well marinated even those the soy sauce has... not fully penetrated. Seafood soupe was tasty and well as the beef soupe which was my favorite. Read more

Thicc is how I would describe Jjim. Come with a thick wallet because this is expensive Korean food and they have the thickest... Korean pancake you will ever see. We ordered Braised Beef, spicy pork bulgogi, and seafood pancake for a party of 3 with drinksand that was enough to fill everyone's belly ( We have a bottomless stomach in the group **cough--me ). The braised beefreminds me of the beef bourguignon, so get ready for Korean food with French flare. The batter of the pancake does a good jobholding the ingredients together. Overall, the food is tasty and the bill also hurts so good. Read more

Always enjoy the food at jjim. It's not like a typical Korean place where you get banchans with your meals but nevertheless the... food always tastes excellent. It's definitely a bit on the pricier side. The service is fast and the food has consistentlytasted good on all our previous visits. I usually get the half chicken jjim. We added rice cakes and glass noodles to ours. Itcomes with some veggies and rice. Everything from veggies to chicken is cooked to perfection, even the breast pieces are softand moist without being dry. We also tried kimchi pancakes and they were crispy and delicious. Read more

Delicious Korean bbq restaurant. If you come with a large group it may take a long time to get seated. The food was excellent.... Flavorful and tender meats. Limitless rice refills. Good options for vegetarians too. Read more

I was looking for some Korean and decided to come here for the first time. I was a little surprised on the higher than normal... prices and the fact the food doesn't come with banchan (Korean side dishes). Also the ordering process is unique where you comeinside and order immediately and then you go to your assigned seat until the food is brought to you. The soup was AMAZING! andthe beef kalbi was very good but it definitely looked very westernized. Overall I would come back again for their Korean beeftofu stew! I would give this place a 4.5 out of 5 star Read more

Man o man I don't even know where to begin... This place is amazing and I would highly recommend to anyone. You order at the... front and are assigned a table to be seated. The hostess was very polite and was happy to answer all of our questions, and gaveus really good suggestions (the sake we got was off the chain!). The service there was impeccable. We never felt ignored, andthey definitely aimed to impress. Our server was really cool and never let us run out of water, and when more guests arrived wedidn't even need to ask for plates and silverware- he had it out within seconds of them joining. For the food- all I have tosay is try everything. Ordered 3 entrees and 4 appetizers, all of which were fabulous. The seafood pancakes were out of thisworld, as were the eggs, and shrimp. Would highly recommend ordering to share plates instead of just getting something foryourself. There are so many flavors and the food is so good, it would be a shame to not have a little bit of everything. Thespicy beef and noodles hands down stole the show. It was so soft and delicious, you didn't need teeth to eat it. Was easily oneof the best dishes I've had in Austin, and I've lived here for 11 years. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. Would make anexcellent date spot for dinner and a movie considering you can walk to the Alamo. Read more

I’ve now eaten here three times and been impressed every time. They’ve got service down pat. You walk in, order and get... seated within two minutes. The food has come out quickly, the servers are kind, and the food has been incredible. While not thecheapest it’s not designed to be. I went for their great lunch specials twice and it drew me back for dinner. Keeprocking. Edit: I let the waiter know how much I loved it and the owner Brian came out. We chatted for 5 minutes and got to tryKorean radish Kimchi and a pear juice. As a fellow business owner, I appreciate when someone puts care and consideration intoeach aspect of the business and you can tell he does so he has my unconditional support. Read more
