I was poisoned, twice! On Tuesday me and a colleague ordered the Home Run from Juiceland. Roughly 3 hours after consuming the... Smoothie, I suddenly felt nauseous. I ran to the bathroom and got violently I'll, throwing up until I had nothing left. About 15minutes later I returned to the bathroom to throw up the little water I consumed after the first purge. I live 20 minutes frommy office and threw up 3 more times on the way home. When I got home...another 2 purges. After a 3 hour nap and sipping smallamounts of Gatorade to stay hydrated, I was almost out of the woods. It was all diarrhea for the rest of the night. The nextday I was fine. Nobody else in the office or at home was or has been sick since, with one exception, my colleague who alsoconsumed a Smoothie from Juiceland on Ranch Road 620 in Austin, TX. I have been feeling great ever since. Today however...I gotanother Smoothie. Two hours later...same thing all over again. Oh, also, our office contacted Juiceland, explained the situationand asked them to contact me.... they laughed at her and gave her the corporate hr email address... BTW, we have been orderingSmoothies for the office every day for about a year. No more. Since Juiceland employees and management dont seem to care, Ireported the incident to several other consumer protection entities. Someone needs to shut them down! Read more
Update: Headquarters reached out to me quickly and got the issue resolved. Thank you! I have not had a bad experience with... Juice Land until today. I ordered a smoothie bowl with about 5 customers behind me which were not online orders. I did not getmy smoothie bowl until everyone behind me received their order. I am African American and every other customers that orderedafter me were Caucasian. I asked the male worker, who was working on my order, to check on the status of my smoothie bowl and hestated that they were still working it (10 mins). There was one more person that walked in last who ordered and still receivedtheir order before me. That experience made me really upset to feel like my order was placed on hold because it was notimportant enough to go in the order it was placed. Juiceland is the best and that's that. This location is less busy than a lot of others as it's tucked in the outskirts of the... Austin area. They also offer a few more pieces of swag from their merchandise shop here. Be sure to check for their dailyspecials and ask about buying a thermos because you get a tiny discount if you use it when buying your juice! Read more
JuiceLand gets 5 stars because they have great juices and smoothies! I was not a fan of the juice cleanse flavors and needing to... drink all 6 in one day was no bueno. Some tasted like just straight grass but I did that to myself. The chocolate hemp milk wasgood. I do love my some JuiceLand though. And if you haven?t been yet, don?t know where you?ve been hiding!
