I had never been to Juliet, but had heard great things. I was in the mood for pasta and was excited this place had house made... pasta. We sat at the bar which had beautiful stools and was inviting. We were the only couple sitting at the bar and there wasone server there. She was friendly and attentive when we first sat down to get our appetizer and drink order, but disappearedfor a good while and we waited longer than we should have to order our food. Wine was great and the arancini appetizer was goodtoo. Unfortunately when it came time for the house made pasta we were both looking forward to, it was a complete disappointment.I had the garden pasta which was spaguetti with seasonal veggies, and my friend had the chicken parm which came on a bed ofspaguetti as well. He ate his chicken and left all the pasta. I took a couple of bites of mine and took the rest home because Ihate wasting food, but ended up throwing it away at home. The spaguetti came all chopped up and we both felt like 2 little kidseating pasta our parents chopped up for us to make it easier. Besides the frustrating experience of eating chopped up spaguetti, the texture was also terrible, it was thick like a bucatini but without the holes. It was just terrible pasta and not edible. The veggies on my pasta were pretty hard too so even those were not enjoyable. Right when we got the entrees and noticed thechopoed up spaguetti we asked the server why the pasta was chopped up, she said that was normal. Then we tried to eat andrealized it was so terrible we couldn't so we finished our wine and asked for the check. We told the server to please send ourfeedback to the chef that the chopped up pasta was not at all an Italian tradition and completely took away from our eatingexperience. She said they had new people in the kitchen. Honestly I don't care if staff is new or not, my food wasn't free,Juliet is not a cheap restaurant and I expected the server to have handled our complaint in a more custome Read more

Always love coming here! The environment is so lively. The bathrooms are always clean as well as the tables and bar. It can get... very busy and noticed service can be a bit slow. My most recent visit food was served slightly warm and not hot but I stillenjoyed it especially eating the left overs for lunch the next day! Read more

Juliet is a wonderful restaurant truly worth visiting. The wait staff is professional attentive and friendly. The dishes we... ordered were prepared with great attention to detail freshness, and were a delight to the palate. The ambience in the restaurantwas casual and quiet with just the right amount of romantic flair. I would recommend this restaurant as one of the places to goin Austin for wonderful Italian food. I particularly enjoyed the pork loin with fungi and the calamari is excellent! We're trulylucky to get an invitation by our daughter to delight in this cuisine. Read more

Happy hour 3-6PM is excellent. We had the calamari and apple Gorgonzola pizza both of which were very good. I liked the thinly... sliced fried lemon and jalapeño slices that came with the calamari. The mandarin cocktail was also excellent- not sweet. Willbe back to try out other items on the menu. Read more

Service was great but food was lacking. Really disappointed with the grilled octopus - only two overcooked legs for the "to... share" plate at a $30 price point. Look at all the potatoes! I could've gone to Costco and make it myself (which I have done inthe past). Pasta sauces lacked flavor and the noodles lacked texture. Only the marinara sauce seemed ok and seasoned well. Wasreally hoping for more but maybe we ordered the wrong dishes. The taste profiles were lacking overall and left a lot to bedesired. Ambience was lovely though. Read more

Perfect combination of classy and casual. Great portions, gluten free adjustments available. Had the GF calamari, excellent; the... regular version must be out of this world. Christian was great, really helped work through the dietary stuff to make the bestchoices. And the chicken parmigiana was as big as my face, lunch for tomorrow! Read more

?????New restaurant review Austin style: Juliet Italian Kitchen My friends and I met at Juliet Italian Kitchen last night in... the Arboretum per my friends suggestion. It was a great dining experience! This restaurant used to be TGI Fridays back in theday and they could not be more different in appearance and vibe! The entrance to the restaurant is inviting, with beautifultile and a grouping of hanging rattan light features as well as little photo op place. The lobby is cool with a gorgeous velvetsofa and styling. The interior of the restaurant is stylish in navy and chrome. The bar is large with ample seating and flowsinto tall table top dining. The dining area is divided by beautiful chrome dividers and has great drama on the ceiling withlighting and hanging plants. The restrooms have really cool and elegant wallpaper with a seating area outside. The outdoorpatio overlooks a grove of trees and is very peaceful. Our server was friendly and attentive to us and made sure we all had agreat dining experience. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The quantities were large and we had several take-home containersto enjoy later. Highly recommend this restaurant, I will certainly be back! ????? Read more
