The show was lack luster due to us coming in so late that our chef was tired. We enjoyed the food. The salad dressing haschanged a bit. We miss the old one. My husband and I happened... upon it one anniversary night when we were looking for something new to try. Needless to say, all our anniversaries and muchmore is celebrated at Freda's! We have always had great service and fantastic food! Chad and Eric have been the 2 waiters thathave served our every need on our visits to Freda's. They, along with all the waitstaff, are wonderful! They are constantlyobserving your table to see what you may need and only come up when they notice you need something. It's so nice to be served bypeople who don't bother you every other minute. I went with my family last week as a goodbye dinner for my step dad. The waiter greeted us and got our drinks immediately. We... ordered a sampler as an appetizer and it was pretty good. I got the shrimp po boy and oh my goodness it was good! I'm reallypicky when it comes to food and I loved it. I even picked some crab legs off my step dads plate. They were the best I've everhad! Let’s start by saying I’ve never been to a Japanese Steakhouse. When we come in there was 1 table in the entire building and... they were getting to when we walked in. 2 adults and a young toddler. They asked if we wanted to sit at the grill. We were superexcited because we never have been able to experience something like this. We are 5 hours from home! The waiter explained therules and we understood (so I thought). He brings us waters and then the bottled sodas. My husband and children ordered and thenI ordered my Sushi as I am not a big fan of Asian type foods they have here. I was told for me to sit there it would be $10extra because I didn’t order grill food. I looked around and we were literally the only people in the restaurant. He said itis the rules of the restaurant and took our menus, I said ok that’s ok. He said for us to have a good day and I asked what wedo and he walked off. So we took our drinks and walked to the host stand and let them know we aren’t sure what we are supposedto do and let him know what our waiter said. About 5 minutes later the same water comes back and asked my husband if he wantedhis drink he left on the table and he said no and I asked for another waiter to attend to us. The new waiter went over our orderwhich was almost entirely wrong, we corrected it and about 30-40 minutes or so later my sushi comes out. It sat there foranother 15 minutes until the rest of my family’s food come so we could eat together. My sushi was ok. My daughter had theHawaiian pork and she didn’t eat it. The food was ok. The manager Kevin come and apologized for us not being able to sit atthe grill and said it was store rules. I let him know there was NO ONE else in the restaurant when we got there. He insisted itwas the rules. That’s fine. Our new server was nice and Kevin was friendly but we will not recommend this place.
