I?m from Northern Mexico (have lived 10 years in Austin) and this place is a 10/10 for me! The menu is incredible!!

Strangely delicious cheese enchilada (I've never had one with velveeta cheese), but the beans and the rice were a little on the... cool side. Enjoyed the salsa immensely and the chips were delicious. The best part was the hostess and the waitress because bothwere friendly and outgoing. Read more

Wasn't impressed when they sat us down. We asked for a booth or regular table. They said neither was available, so they sat us... at a high top table that's in-between the kitchen, bathrooms, and the entrance. Lots of traffic. Not the best place to sit. Iwalked over to the main area and there were plenty of empty tables. I'm assuming they probably didn't have a server availablefor that portion of the restaurant. We didn't ask. Our server was Ceylany. She was great. Chips and salsa were brought out.They also brought out charro beans as a dip for the tortilla chips. This was an interesting and tasty concept. It's a nicealternative to salsa. We also ordered child con queso that was quickly eaten. We ordered fajitas, the Pablo Patron, among otherdishes. I really loved their enchilada sauce. The sauce is what makes the enchiladas delicious. All of our food was very good.Drinks were spot on, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. 10 deaf people came to eat, 8pm the lights were dimmed low enough to not see each others sign language or read anything 2.5 feet... away, management said the company?s policy is not to adjust the lighting even though the lights itself are dimmed 8pm. All feeldiscriminated by disability access by darkness inhibiting visual communication. The food was great, the drinks were great, thewaitress was very advocating. Lupe tortilla has the very best hand shaken margaritas on the rocks! Starting with drinks they get 10/10. Food and service was... great too!! The shrimp enchiladas and chicken tacos were delicious. Totally recommend trying out this restaurant if you haven?talready. Read more

I always emphasize my first visit and this was has mixed reviews. We dined in to celebrate my daughters friends birthday. So she took a chance and orders me GREENENCHILADAS (3) Roasted chicken, corn tortillas, Jack cheese, green tomatillo sauce, pico de gallo, sour cream. 15.95 - let mefirst start by saying it has NO flavor whatsoever I have been to Lupe in Houston and the food was always on point and full offlavor.
