4 star lunch experience. Beef lovers enchiladas were spectacular. Tons of flavor they even added grilled jalapeños when I asked... to make it spicy. Tons of flavor with the chipotle sauce. I don't understand the hype about this place. Salsa was good but went downhill after that. Chicken fajita tacos were cold,... soggy, and very disappointing. Was not even fajita chicken but seasoned boiled chicken with a few sauteed onions and peppers. Black beans were as bland as the guacamole. Service was good but too bad food was not. Gave it another try, but just adisappointing as the last time. Probably won't be back. Still just as hungry now as i was when i got here...Bleh.... Read more
Good food. Men's Restroom toilet area seemed like it needed a lightbulb replaced and I spoke to staff manager and he said he... would have it looked at. Waiter had to be asked for some items and he brought some items, but when asked for ???? Salt & Pepper,it was never brought out. Other than a few minor problems. I went in May 2022... I hardly ever leave reviews for restaurants, but this is easily the worst Tex-Mex food I've ever had. And... I've had a lot. Honestly their food and drinks seem on par with a high school cafeteria. Do not go to this restaurant untilownership changes. I wanted to leave as soon as I tasted the guacamole. I should have left. Maudie?s hill country has an excellent patio with plenty of seating and a sunset from the Mariposa room & balcony is a real... treat for special events. The food is consistent and good standard Tex-Mex fare but I think their stand out menu items are thebreakfast tacos, specifically Pete?s Tantalizing Tacos. My other favorite here is the Poblano Creama Enchildas. I can?t leaveout the classic frozen margaritas either with plenty of swirl-in flavor options such as Prickly Pear. Overall it?s a really good experience we ordered a few drinks and I didn?t have a problem with them but some of the party did... and the staff was very quick to correct the issue. And no problem going above and beyond trying to correct the issue (offeringfree shots). The food was good, drinks were good in my opinion, the staff had fast service. Whenever I need a good soup I get the Tortilla soup from Maudies. It is packed with chicken and veggies. It comes with rice too.... Such great flavor. Read more
