It is a nice place with a lot of different flavors. I am a regular here. But I was very disappointed with my recent visit on... August 15 at 8:00pm. It was fill your cup for $5.99 monday. We had three cups, one of them was above $5.99, two of them at $3.5and $4 respectively. The check marked all cups to 5.99, adding additional dollars to 3.5 and 4 dollars making it a total of$19.45. This was unexpected for me and I asked for details from the billing representative, she had little idea on how to readthe receipt. However she mentioned that for cups less than 5.99, it should only charge what it's worth. But she could neitherfigure that out from the receipt nor do anything about it.She gave up too soon saying that is how it bills. I would recommendeducate the employees on how to read the receipt, because without that, they wouldn't be able to help the customers at all. Whoever the white young girl with shoulder length brown hair was working today was? yikes.. extremely unprofessional. There was... no greeting, I watched her address about 8 customers with a snappy ? Do you know how it works?? When they came through the door. Each customer had the reaction I did? it was off putting. She ate the fro yo the entire time we were there, gossiped with afriend and went to the back for a long period of time leaving the front unmanned. And then, while we sat there she swept andtold her friend how disgusting some customers were dropping food on the floor? she also rolled her eyes at her friend after acustomer prompted her with a greeting when she made no effort to say hi to them.. also cursing in front of my child. Ice cream was super runny. Something definitely was wrong with it. It wasn?t cold enough. They were Out of several flavors.... Little girls working there were all sitting on the counter by the register with feet propped up. Not professional at all.Worst ice cream EVER! I came in to Menchie's this past Sunday evening and Emily was working at the counter. She was so kind and helpful and made my... yogurt night even better. It was my first time to this shop and she greeted me and told me how it worked. With covid there areextra steps and she walked me through all of this. And I really like that the toppings were put in containers for you, I thinkthey should always do this!! Emily answered all the questions I had and was so kind the entire time. Overall, the experience here was good. They froyo was tasty and the toppings were plentiful. However, were not offered a sample... to taste a flavor. Perhaps that is not something done here at this location. The locations I have visited in El Paso, alwaysoffer a sample for you to try out if you are not sure of a flavor. For example, my mom asked if they had any flavors that are nosugar added. She was told that yes they had strawberry or caramel. That would have been a perfect opportunity to offer a sampleto see which flavor was preferred. Yet the two employees just stood behind the counter and watched.
