Michelle's created a stunning, delicious wedding cake for our day -- it was exactly what we pictured and a huge hit with our... guests! They also made a dozen gluten-free cupcakes for our celiac guests, which was an easy add-on. The tasting process wasquick and simple. They made us a cake tasting to go, after which we just called the bakery to let them know what we wanted. Theywere a bit challenging to get in touch with at times (they must be very popular and very busy), which resulted in some latepayments, but they never charged us any late fees, and the spotty communication did not extend to the wedding day. They were ontime, communicated well with our planners, and delivered our cake in perfect condition! We were also happy with the price. Somebakeries quoted us less, others quoted more, but we feel we got our money's worth. We actually almost went with a less expensiveoption, but the visual quality just wasn't on par. It was absolutely worth the extra dollars for a professional-levelproduct. For a cake that is as delicious as it is beautiful, Michelle's is a great choice. We just hosted our daughter's Quince and hired Michelle's Patisserie to make her cake. Michelle was amazing from the... beginning. She helped me with the design of the cake. I wanted something traditional yet modern. It turned out even morebeautiful than what I imagined. If you have never had Michelle's cake you're in for a treat. We were on the fence about getting a cake at all, as we didn?t want to add more stress and thought onto everything we were... already planning (and we?ve always been disappointed by wedding cake), but an easy cake tasting at Michelle?s Patisserie changedour minds! From the beginning, though the business is always busy with tons of orders, the office manager Kim did everythingwithin her power to get us what we needed when we needed it (pricing quotes, design & budget suggestions, cake tastings, etc.).We were hoping for a cake that wouldn?t be heavy on our budget and with a design that could fit within our wedding color scheme(a real ?no fuss? cake) and Michelle?s Patisserie really delivered! We ended up with a 2-tier cake that served 50, which wasperfect for cake-cutting and photos, and 1 sheet cake that could be cut in the back that served 25. We chose the almond withchocolate amaretto and white chocolate raspberry cake flavors, and the cake was moist and delicious ? our guests couldn?t stopraving about it! Everyone also loved the blue-purple swirl design (which fit our wedding colors) and the crunchy white balls,which added a great texture to the cake. Michelle was very flexible in helping us book a tasting for our wedding this past October and we were very excited about our... wedding cakes! The Honey Whiskey cake is to die for and the Strawberries and Cream has been a favorite of mine for years. Sheunderstood what we wanted for our designs and the cake stands we rented were amazing and well-priced. Love their cakes! Read more
From the first email I sent inquiring about making our wedding cake, the responses were prompt and they had a clear... understanding of exactly what we wanted. We wanted a small 6' cake as the topper followed by 35 petit fours with our initials onthem. This was the only bakery I found in ATX that does petit fours the right way and with fondant and thus far, the only bakeryI had been able to find that actually had cake stands to rent and a good variety of them. Unfortunately, they did not have oneto accommodate the tiers we wanted, but I was asked to bring mine in and they used them without any additional charges. I lovecake tastings and by the time we got to Michelle's, we were on our third tasting, but the flavors were so unique and the cakewas so moist and delicious that we knew from the first bite, that we would hire them. We decided on the honey lavender and allof our guests agreed it was fantastic. I found Michelle and Amy very easy to work with, the pricing was reasonable, the bakeryis super cute and I wished I had a daughter just so we could dress up and do a fun cake and tea day in their pink room. We wereso impressed with the turnout of our cake that we used them a month later for a surprise party but this time we chose thechocolate indulgence which the perfect ratio of chocolate cake vs. mousse. I am not a fan of chocolate cake because it isusually dry or too rich, but Michelle's does it right and moving forward, they will be my go to bakery. I do caution becausethey are so popular and their schedule fills up fairly quickly, to schedule a custom cake no later than two months in advance. Read more
Michelle?s Patisserie made our wedding cake, and they did a fantastic job! They were so accommodating during our many date... changes due to the pandemic, and we are so appreciative of that. Highly recommend! Michelle's Patisserie made the cake for our wedding and we were so happy with it! We ended up with the... tiramisu flavor after trying 4 flavors, which were all so good. We also purchased a few different treats instead of a groom'scake (cheesecake bites, pecan bars, lemon bars, and donuts) and used their cake & treats stands. Thanks so much!
