Now that the pandemic is basically over, Mod pizza was the worst pizza I ever had. It looked nothing like the pictures. It... looked more like an old misshapen rag with little toppings. I paid a lot for it and was disgusted. Others have said they like itbut I am quick to tell them my expeience. I really should've gotten my money back. I'll never go back. Read more

The pizza was awesome and I really liked. I has a hiccup with my credit card, which did not work, and I didn't bring cash. They... were understanding about it and gave me my pizza anyways. I will definitely come back and repay them somehow. Read more

First time here and it was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the place was very clean. The pizza itself was... very very good. The crust was thin and crispy and the sauce was flavorful but didn?t overpower the toppings! Read more

Our worst experience at a Mod location. Customer service was lacking. Literally one second after my pizza was placed in the... oven I asked that it be removed to add something I forgot. I was told it was too late. We were the only customers in there. Iordered 3 cakes. Paid and was given 2. Had to ask for the 3rd. I told the guy I'm just going to the bathroom while the foodcooks. Walked to the bathroom to find it requires a code. Walked back and asked the exact same guy for the code. He knew I wasgoing, he knew it required a code, yet he decided not to mention that. Bathroom smelled of pee. When the pizza came out weweren't offered the extra sauces that you can put on at the end. I guess they figured that we could just leave without beingasked or offered. My daughter had wanted that sauce drizzle but she didn't get it. I wanted fresh tomatoes and arugula addedwhen it came out. They gave it to me in a cup and had me add it myself. I also had to add cold corn to my husbands pizza myselfbecause that was the topping they had refused to add when I asked them to take the pizza out of the oven and add it. The drinksand the cake were ???? the pizza was just ok. Toppings were not spread out well. When 4 people are working they should be ableto handle a walk in customer that orders 3 pizzas. I'll still probably go to Mod pizza again. Just not this location as theservice was not up to par. Read more

This is a hot take, but I think MOD is one of the best pizza places in Austin. I like the thin crust, the very neutral toppings... (sometimes I think places overcompensate with very herby sauces) and I think it's the perfect size. It doesn't feel as heavy asmost fast pizza (which can also be great in the right circumstances). So it is very hard for me to even give 1 star to this location. I was promised my order at 6:45 and I was there at 6:40 waiting... on my pizza. I asked about it and they said it was being made now. At about 6:45, I heard what I thought was my name "Rick" andanother guy stepped up and claimed the pizza. I went up and asked what name they called and he repeated back what I thought wasRick, after two times he indicated it was Brick with a B that he called. So I stepped back and continued to wait. A few minuteslater the same guy came in and said that was not his order and he needed his order. I looked at what I he returned and he hadalready taken a bit of a piece of pizza before returning. At this point it was already 10 minutes late so I requested a refund. While going through the refund process and prior to giving me the refund, my name was called. I then assumed I was getting mypizza so I left. When I arrived, I opened my pizza only to find that they had packaged up the pizza the guy returned and handedit to me even though he had returned the pizza after eating some of it. It was the most discussing thing I have ever experiencedat a dining establishment. I will never return to this location. I called and supposedly I will be getting a refund. I took thegeneral managers name and I will be calling him tomorrow on 3/30. Good luck if you choose to go to this place. If they packageup returned eaten pizza and hand it to customers, there is no telling what they will do to your pizza while cooking! Read more
