These two humans are having pop-ups on the Friday and Saturday night at Long Play North (n Lamar and Guadalupe). The tacos are... reasonably priced and the best I've yet had in Austin. Seriously good. The next nixtamalized yellow corn tortillas really makeit. October 14/15 and 21/22! Read more

I came for a late lunch and had their special of the day: shrimp tacos. Each taco comes with two corn tortillas, cilantro-lime... slaw, and four pieces of shrimp drizzled with salsa Macha. Salsa Macha is a salsa from Veracruz, Mexico made with dried chilipeppers, garlic, peanuts, and sesame seeds fried in oil. I can?t emphasize enough how deliciously spicy and fresh these tacostasted. The owners are super friendly. According to them, the shrimp tacos are their most popular special, so it tends to sellout before the end of the day. They do the shrimp special a couple of times a month, and they announce it the day of on theirInstagram page. The shrimp tacos were $4.75 each, but they were well worth it. Definitely a new fan of Paprika ATX! Read more

I had heard about Paprika from a very good friend and it kept popping up on IG that I had to give it a try. Def did not... disappoint. Came on a random weekday a few weeks back and it was beautiful to eat outside and the tacos were muy rica! I had twoof their normal menu items, the Carnitas, Saudero, and their special of the day which was mushrooms. All of them were quitephenomenal; I could hardly tell the special was vegetarian because the mushrooms were beautifully seasoned and cooked and thetexture really reminded me of eating meat. My only area of improvement is in their salsas. They were kind of meh and with tacosso great, an amazing salsa would really amplify the flavors. Outdoor seating is sparse, just a few tables so I could see thisplace getting packed quickly. Met some really nice people in AFC gear and had a great chat with them. Would def come back.Bonus: Owner is a part of LV. Listos!!!! Read more

The tacos here were truly amazing. I got the shrimp special which was so light and tasty. The carnitas were amazing paired with... their creamy green salsa. I also tried the brisket and you can not go wrong with either. Tacos were good priced at $3-4 a piecedepending on what you got. Flavors were exceptional and I highly recommend trying the salsas. I had the torta with suadero and the quesadilla with carnitas. The meat is why I give this place five stars. The meat is juicy... and deep in taste. The meat was pleasantly braised (I think) with a great balance of spices. The telera bread for the torta wastoasted to crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The portion sizes were perfect; I did in fact weigh myself the next dayand I hadn't gained much. I'd actually had this place one other time and a bunch of people were asking for bistec so I'll wantto try that one next. Read more

Here are 3 mantras for happiness: 1?? TOTALITY Live everyday like it is Taco Tuesday 2?? BALANCE A balanced diet is a taco in... both hands 3?? PERSEVERENCE A day without tacos won?t kill you, but why risk it? It is easy to live by these mantras in Austinand today Paprika can help. It is a fairly new food truck but they are here to stay.
