I ordered a pickup order of Birria tacos because I was craving some good ones with the sauce and saw the reviews. I show up to... the place, the girl doesn?t greet me annnddd for $8 with two tacos, they DON?T come with sauce! Say what? Very disappointed.Then I got the sauce and it was extra watery. Easily the worst \"\"birria\"\" tacos ive had... quotations because im not completely sure if I can even call it birria. Being... from Dallas maybe I expected to much? But I should have known ,seeing that the tortilla was soggy right off the back and eventhe meat didnt look like any other birria ive had at any other place so I guess I had it coming. To put it simple , If I didntspend 30+ dollars on these tacos they would have went straight in the trash where they belong. Read more
Small specialized menu. Taco de Birria w/ cheese was so tasty! The beef was well seasoned and the deep fried corn shell was... fantastic. The sauce was also bomb. We had to go get seconds. Service was really great and the food came quickly.\n\nSome cons -no prices on the menu, very small for the price, each person would need 3 of these for it to be a meal. Combo doesn\'t specifyhow many or what it comes with, non combo order doesn\'t come with consome (though the person was nice enough to give it to usfor free).\n\nOverall though, the food was so good that we will definitely be back when the Birria cravings some back! Shells were cold and soggy, meat was all pure fat, the birria dip was stored in a huge pot in the back of a car that?s parked in... the parking lot. Had huge chunks of fat in it. Guy told us they were out of onion and cilantro but when I asked if he couldremake them for us our new ones had onion and cilantro. Just bad, don?t risk it because there are a few good reviews. I don\'t normally consume beef. I gave Pepe\'s an exception. Definitely did not disappoint! So flavorful and tender. Even the... shell/tortilla of the birria has a distinct flavor. The green salsa is pretty hot, it made me sweat.\n\nI like that their menuhas a few items, you know it\'s good because it\'s highly specialized. Really great, crunchy birria tacos. There were a few fatty pieces as others have mentioned in other reviews, but it wasn?t... anything distasteful. I thought it was awesome! The only thing that made our experience bad was the staff member taking ourorder, not very friendly. Ruined a bit of our experience for National Taco Day. Read more
