Pok-E-Jo's has been, and still is, my go-to spot for BBQ when I'm at the office. It's definitely great to be back to the... restaurant after all these months of working from home. For this visit, I ordered 2-meat combo with brisket and pork ribs. Thebrisket is absolutely delicious (Soft and tender) and their pork ribs are also fabulous with meats falling off the bone easily. In addition, the spicy BBQ sauce that offers also go nicely with the meats. Oh, and for the two sides, I went for potato saladand broccoli; very delicious and also go well with the brisket and ribs. Overall, a great place for BBQ. Read more

Decent BBQ. I had the 2 meat plate with brisket, beef sausage, broccoli salad, and pinto beans. The brisket was tender and a... good cut which had the charred bark with good smoky flavor. The sausage was tender and tasty. The beans a bit bland but hadgreat amounts of pork. Broccoli salad was delicious. Fast friendly service makes it welcoming. Even though service was good,I wouldn?t go outta my way to go back, but I would return if I was in the mood and in the area. Read more

I'm from Idaho, so whenever I am in Austin I try to eat BBQ. This was my first time to eat here. I told that to the guy at the... counter and he gave my friend and I a great sample plate of 5 or 6 different meats. We both chose the 2-meat plate. Comes with2 sides. My friend got corn and baked beans. I chose corn and a drink, both with ribs and brisket. All excellent! Except, myfriend said the beans were "meh". I'll definitely go back the next time I am in Austin! Read more

Such good food, I've loved eating here for 15+ years. My favorite is the chopped brisket sandwich. Their prices are higher now,... by a noticeable amount. It used to be a pretty affordable, almost cheap, meal. Not anymore. Family meal for four cost me $70which is akin to a normal sit down restaurant. But honestly, I don't mind paying higher prices since their food is good and Ihope they stay in business. Read more

so I said I would return, this is my second time back: THE PUDDING IS NASTY IDK WHATS IN IT BUT ITS NOT GOOD NOT SWEET NO FLAVOR... IN THE COOKIES IN THE BANANA PUDDING. Over priced ?Large? puddings. Not a large. It?s an individual size. We?re Texans THIS ISNOT A LARGE, COME ON NOW!! The first instinct in the banana pudding is sour or tangy. And there was these funny pieces in itlike idk it wasn?t banana although there was bananas in it there was these little pieces of something. It wasn?t cold puddingeither. WONT BUY AGAIN. I?ve been here once before this and the pudding was ?sold out? was sold out. So I wanted to see what allthe rave was about. I don?t think I?ll go back a third time. It ruined it all for me. Not just that the food period is not allthat. Go to a more authentic bbq place to eat bbq not here. AND PLEASE YALL TEXANS DONT BRING VISITORS HERE THIS IS NOT TEXASBBQ. This is not what we?re about. Don?t embarrass yourselves. Don?t embarrass us Texans. It?s over priced it was almost $90 forthree adult plates: (2)w/ three meats and (1) two meats and three drinks Read more
