Stopped in for lunch on a slow Saturday. The location is upstairs and has lovely outdoor seating as well as inside seating, and... several TVs if you wish to watch. They offer a full range of adult beverages, local craft beer, and wine. Pizzas, sandwiches andsalads are available. They take great pride in using locally sourced ingredients, including the flour and olive oil. I had aGodfather grinder, which was a generous and delicious sandwich. The bread was very tasty and the portions of the meats weresubstantial. Service was good. Parking is available nearby for free. My only issue is that the sandwich came with no chips orside of any sort, so the pricing is okay but not bargain. Read more
I dont crave a pizza more than those at Shortie’s. We either order to-go or dine in at least once a week. Online ordering is... quick and easy (only expect a long-ish 45-60min wait on Fri and Sats!). In person dining is also via an app, but you do alsohave a server - all who have been super attentive, kind and helpful! We love that they have the usual pizza and salad optionsbut also have some suuuper fun options too. All delicious. The outdoor roof top patio is super fun with lots of space. Filledwith bistro lights, cool turf, a corn hole area regular 4-top tables and big wood picnic tables to choose from. Theyoccasionally have live music! But not on a regular schedule yet due to covid. The indoor area is also very nice! Casual, butclean. There are regular tables, bar-top tables and booths inside. When we sit inside we like to sit in the booths along thewall with all the windows by the bar (which is a giant bar btw if you want to watch a game!). No liquor here but their on-tapbeer options and wine are good. They do mix specialty cocktails, just with wine liquor. :) The happy hour is also suuuuper good.We are comfortable with our kids outside. The pizza was a bit salty for my liking. The atmosphere inside was laid back but more of a daycare on the outside with kids... thrown bean bags all over the place and running wild. The price was a bit high for the quality of the food. Won't be going back. Read more
Amazing spot! Nick & Tavez (not sure if I spelled it correctly) were outstanding and made feel like I was home! Had a delicious... Blackberry Berliner and a dope Pale Ale while I waited for my to go order. Since I couldn't decide between the Raging Raquel &the Meatball Grinders, I went with both! Don't judge me, I'm living in a hotel for a month and there's a fridge! Now I gotta goback for the pizza!!! Read more
Food was great, staff was friendly. I’m from New England and I’ve never heard of pizza specifically hailing from the entire... region but it didn’t disappoint. The one with leaves and pine nuts which we nick named “Fall”, was delicious. Read more
We stopped in for a quick bite . Lordy the meatballs where scrumptious. The cheesy garlic bread was Fantastic too. Good... selection of Craft beers on tap. We can not wait to go back and enjoy the beautiful rooftop patio. Highly recommend. Read more
Oof, sad, old stale bread, old brown soggy iceberg lettuce, old bacon, too much mayo on my club sandwich. Partner had a... “shorties” dip sandwhich that was so greasy, enough to result in an immediate stomach ache. Disappointing, and I’m sad tosay it! One positive is that the Greek salad was really good, they add beets which is unusual but totally worked, especially ifyou’re like me and love a good roasted beet. That said, a $13 salad won’t get me back here. I’ll pass on even trying thepies considering just how depressing our sandwiches were. Booooooo! Read more
