I thought I knew what barbecue tasted like until I went to Smokies. This place changed my perception of barbecue. It is... absolutely the best barbecue pork sandwich I have ever had. The potato salad is good but the brisket is ok-ish (too much meat tenderizer might have been used). Good prices. Counter order.... Cash only. Good sandwich with a pulled pork and delicious sausage. The place is near the petrol station and quite busy road.
Brisket is bland. Really bland. Beans are too sweet. The bread on the sandwiches was dry and hard. Potato salad was okay. The... bbq sauce has a good taste but it's very watery. The guy that made my order has a long beard not covered by a hair net. On topof that, they only take cash so I had to go find an ATM and pay fees on that. I don't know who's giving them more than one ortwo stars, but those people either have covid or their taste buds have been dead for years.
