I love this place, but they really need to work on their website. The soups never seem to be updated properly. I?ve shown up a... few times and not gotten what I ordered. Read more

They may have good food but beware when ordering through Favor. One of the items we ordered (soup + baguette) was not in the bag... when delivered. Texted the Favor driver shortly after delivery who never responded. Left a phone message for Soup Peddler sayingthat the item had not been in the bag when received. No return call. Had to call back a couple of days later when the SoupPeddler rep (Ellie) said that the failure to receive an item was a shared responsibility between Soup Peddler and Favor and thatwe should reach out to Favor (which we had already by trying to contact the driver). Soup Peddler would not take responsibilityfor the missing item or make restitution. It wasn't worth chasing down anyone at Favor for a ~$10 refund since they probablywouldn't take responsibility either and would have blamed the folks at Soup Peddler who put the order together. So let thecustomer beware unless you want to see a lot of finger pointing between SP and Favor. For us, this lack of responsibility shutsdown any future patronizing of their business. Read more

One of my favorite places to eat in Austin. They serve you real food, everything is fresh and they have many vegetarian and... vegan options. The smoothies are fantastic. Try the banana peanut butter you won?t be disappointed. The tomato soup was betterthan the tomato soup I had later that night at a 4 star restaurant that I significantly more for. Seriously the tomato soup isSO good, you take one bit and the flavor just explodes in your mouth. Pair it with one if their signature grilled cheeses andyou have a lunch so damn good it will make your eyes roll back in your head- hard to the food is so healthy for you. They arealso very environmentally friendly in typical Austin style all their food containers are recycled and they have a recycling binlabeled clearly. They were super clean and had fun colors on the wall making it a really chill environment. Plenty of seatingbut they are still socially distanced tables. We will be back every time we come to Austin. Some of the best soup I've ever had. Handmade, organic, locally sourced, made daily. Try the rotating soups while you have the... chance, because they don't hang around and they're some of the best. The Smoked Turkey Pepper Pot and the Red Pepper Chili havebeen my favorites. The smoothies are amazing as well. I highly recommend the Strawberry Watermelon. Get there earlier in theevening if you want any bread. Read more
