We love this place. We loved it when they had lunch and dinner buffet. But our recent visit was bit disappointing because they... don’t do dinner buffet on weekdays any more, or may have changed to particular days. Anywho, we still love the food here, nodoubt. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the own/general manager/the guy was not inviting. He always seemed mad, frustrated or not happy…. I mean, you are in customer service industry, please be friendly… unless he just not happy towardsus? P.S. Chicken Tika Masala is great, Lamb Korma is great, but the Beef curry is so so. I still recommend this place, despitethe guy always has a straight face. Read more

What a great experience. I can believe the variety and quality for a Buffett. For $14 you can’t go wrong. Super clean with a... beautiful interior. Comfortable seating and the staff was A+. This place is worthy of 5 Stars! Check it out when in Austin???????????? ???????? Read more

My friends and I wanted to try some Indian cuisine and this place was great! The buffet they offered was perfect when you want... to try different plates. The staff was great and refilled our drinks when needed. We went on a Saturday around 1pm and it wasnot too busy. Everything was fresh and well kept! Thank you for a good experience Star of India! Found this Indian restaurant that offers weekend lunch and dinner buffet, thought we'd give it a try on a Sunday. The place is... super busy at 1pm, luckily didn't have to wait for a table. Really enjoyed all the dishes, the soups were delicious, I love thetomato one in particular and the curry madr with green peas and cheese. I will definitely come back sooner than I expected. It's definitely not for Indians especially not for South Indians. May be north Indians might like a bit. They also don't have... much options, In the buffet they have 4 creamy curries, thick butter Naan and uncooked rice. We weren't happy at all!!! It'sdefinitely not a place for me to visit again, we went group of 6 people for buffet and spent $91, their desserts are not good. Read more
