Good coffee, not great service. I bought a bunch of cups days back and brought back one that had a small chip. It took these... folks 20 minutes to try and contact a manager to authorize an exchange. I finally left with my cup because nobody could get ahold of anyone. Did I mention, I had a receipt and the cup was unused! Read more
Went to the store last Thursday to buy a drink and to have whole beans I bought personally from Starbucks Pike Place on business... trip the previous 2 days. The Pike Place branch unfortunately was not able to grind the beans and told me I can visit anyStarbucks branch to have them ground. I commend the lady who took my order and openly/willingly ground the beans. However, as Iwas waiting while she processes my order, I heard her fellow staff telling her it?s not allowed because they don?t know wherethe beans were bought(actually questioning if the beans were really Starbucks bought and genuine) and they are letting thisinstance pass this time. I was offended. They could have just asked me to confirm and I can show them the official receipt frompike place with pictures of me actually there at the branch to shop. What a bad way of handling things. Although I live nearby,I?d rather visit other branches. This is my go-to Starbucks. They?re quick, friendly, and make my drink perfect every time. I?m not a ?regular? by any means, but... I?m probably here about once a week for a mid-morning pick-me-up. Today I was having a particularly bad day so I asked for someextra caramel to see if that ?could turn my Friday around.? Y?all when I tell you I got teary eyed when I saw the sweet message,I am probably underselling how much it helped. I loved how well routined this establishment is, I accidentally arrived to the wrong location for my order and the associate did... not hesitate to get my order out and this was during a morning rush. They got my order done in less than 5mins. Great customerservice, quick and efficient with great communication and teamwork. By the way this was my first time at this location. Ordered a caramel cappuccino through UberEats and opened my drink to find that it literally looks like 1/4 of my drink is... missing. To pay over $5 for my drink, even bought a larger size, this is terrible quantity and quality on the baristas end. Thisis my first time ordering from this particular Starbucks, will probably be my last, and I expect a lot better from them. Read more
Friendly and fast service! These employees here are fun and friendly. ???? I enjoyed this visit as I do with most Starbucks I... go to but this location stands out for me. The location is at a busy corner but once you get parked and inside it's just a goodplace to be. They even have seating outside under huge oak trees. The coffee was hot and pastries are "Fab!" The CEO is notorious for actively trying to crush workers' attempts to unionize. Apparently they even use a ton of anti-union... messaging and give more benefits to non-union stores, and outright fire identified leaders. I cannot in good conscience ratethis place any higher or continue to go here knowing this. Nobody should be punished for wanting better working conditions,especially not by a CEO with tons of money to burn. The railroad workers are striking for a similar reason, as their demands forbetter conditions continue to not be met. I support people in their fight for better working conditions, and you should too. Ifyou want coffee, please consider less morally dubious options, you might just find something much better and more authentic. Iwent to a French Cafe recently for instance which had both wonderful coffee and good treatment of its workers. You can have lotsof fun trying out new places and things! Read more
