Tried the sausage and can't wait to go back and try everything else! Talked to the owner for a bit (so friendly:) ) and his mom... makes all the sausage and spicy paste stuff by hand. I lived in southeast Asia for a bit and this sausage instantly brought meback. This place is such a gem and I can't wait to return! Oh, and on the spice.. for my dish, all the spice was on the side soeasy to meter how much I wanted, but when I put 'Lao spicy' they did in fact give me Lao spicy. None of this dulling down thespice for white people business. Read more

Dang. This place is amazing!!! Had the chicken skewers with crispy rice. Highly recommend splurging for the fried rice, it was... incredible! Chicken was incredibly tender and beautifully seasoned. I usually go to spicy boys across the street but I’ll becoming here much more often. Keep up the great work y’all!!! Read more

Absolutely awesome food! The menu is small, so we tried almost everything on it – and loved it all. We are still debating... which one we like best. It was either the chicken wings or the steak skewers, but the pulled pork bao were awesome as well. Wealso liked the crispy fried rice, which was really unusual and super delicious. Read more

This food here has so much flavor. The chicken skewers were grilled perfectly and that crispy rice is phenomenal. The service... was amazing also. Will definitely be back at to try new items! Read more

Absolutely delicious and the owner and staff were amazing! We went to the 4th tap brewing for food and drinks after a curling... bday party for my husband. I had contacted SXSE Food Co beforehand because we had a good size group going (12). They worked withmy budget and were very flexible in our ordering. Everyone loved all the food they brought out, although the crispy fried rice, the wings and the chicken skewers were the favorites. Highly recommend! Read more

One of my favorite food trucks located at one of my favorite breweries - it’s a win-win for me! I usually order their beef or... chicken skewers with rice. (Last picture) It comes with a side of pickled veggies and fish sauce. Each bite is multi-layered andpacks a punch. I recently heard from friends that they have chefs tasting menus and I ran over to their website to make areservation. The reservation system is a little confusing and I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to book anything. I wascontacted via email and someone assisted me with a reservation! The chef’s tasting took over half of 4th tap inside seatingarea. They blocked off the section and you were transported into an intimate dinner among friends. It was a multi-course dinner, each plate artfully designed and paired masterfully with a 4th tap beer. The harmonious collaboration between chef and the brewmasters brings the entire experience together. I believe there’s a new tasting menu each season, so i’m already lookingforward to the next event! Hands down the best skewers i’ve ever had! If you’re in East Austin, head to Wanderlust Wine Collective and try the food at... SXSE! In addition to their amazing food, Bob is super friendly an amazing owner, and super nice to all his customers. I willdefinitely be back for more! Read more

I was really excited to try this at Wanderlust Wine Co this weekend, but I wasn’t a fan. The presentation is great, but it’s... a bit expensive, took at least 30 min, and I just didn’t like the taste. I was really excited to try the vegan scallops, thetexture and presentation was great but they were pretty bland. The vegan crispy fried rice I think just wasn’t my style, butit also had SO much parsley. I will say I liked the spice level, but the all around flavor just wasn’t there for me. Read more
