Nice clean local. Friendly service. But its my first Taco Bueno and the food was very ordinary. I only had two combo burritos... and cheesy been and rice burrito all pretty bland mostly beens. But fairly inexpensive so u get what ya pay for i guess. Read more
For a drive through fast food Mexican restaurant this place has great tacos! And the prices was very reasonable. I got 2 chicken... soft tacos for $5 and they were decently sized and tasted great. I?ll be back! Thanks for your service :) Read more
Guys. This is fast food Tex Mex thats actually pretty damn good. It's served with positive energy, care and always taste fresh... , well seasoned w hearty portions. Being from west Texas originally, we were SO happy to find a Taco Bueno had opened up down here! Can't say enough good things.... This location is SPARKLING clean on the inside, even the kitchen. Not a thing out of place. The manager works so hard and she isso nice. Food is always made fresh and hot and delicious. The quality of this taco bueno is even better than ours back home. WAYbetter than Taco Bell. If you're looking for fast, delicious, Tex-Mex, you won't be disappointed here! Read more
I was getting an oil change next door so I decided to come in here with my wife. We are the only ones in line so it?s not like... there was a lot of traffic. We ordered two brisket tacos and one chicken burrito. It took them about 15 minutes to make ourorder while we?re sitting in 103° weather outside. When we finally got the order it was the smallest tacos ever seen!! Superflat, a tiny scoop of brisket and onions. Done in two bites!! Not worth five dollars each. It was my first time eating at a taco bueno. It is one of my fiance's favorite spots to eat when he is in a city that has one. I... really liked it. Prices were reasonable, food was fresh and tasty and I liked the salsa bar. Especially the pico. Read more
In terms of food quality, you are better off going for comparable fast food taco locations like Rosa?s Tortilla Factory or Taco... Casa (no locations in ATX). I?ve never been to Taco Bell so I can?t speak for that. I was not expecting an authentic taco trucktaste but Taco Bueno just? sucked. There was barely any substance in the crispy or soft taco. The Muchaco shell is just a giantpita bread and not actually a fluffy flour tortilla that you?d expect. It wasn?t even fried like you?d expect a chalupa tobe. Get their party/bean burritos. they make them with chili sauce and cheese like nobody else. dip those bad boys in salsa. its... incredible. CHERISH THIS BUENO ITS THE LAST ONE IN AUSTIN.
