So I walked about a mile to get to this place and let me tell you every step was worth it I ordered 2 Al Pastor and 2 Bistek... tacos with a side of rice and beans and let me tell youfor starters the ri e and beans were awesome and I think they used jazminrise in mexican style rice wich I ha e never seen before and it was great same as the beans as I always say if the beans suck ata Mexican restaurant you can't expect the food to be good and here the beans were bomb no pun intended as for the pastor anbistek tacos they were pretty tasty and they were not small at all 4 tacos had me full so you get a great tasting good size tacofor your money the lady behind the counter was nice and pleasant and the service was fast as for the place nice shaded areawhich was really clean overall highly recomend this little gem and will most likely visit again if in the area. Taqueria King is a hidden gem, it's just a humble cart but I had a really great lunch here, lot's of care goes into this food.
I think this place is the best taco spot in south Austin. I’ve been to at least 20 and it has become my regular. They have... phenomenal homemade flour tortillas and all of the meats are great, especially pastor. The migas is also very, very good. Iwould take them over veracruz any day. Read more
