Our go to place for dine in and take out. Easy menu to choose from. Excellent service. And simply delicious. Good for curries... and pakoda and all other appetizers. However, Biryani is a bit westernized and not authentic but all other food items are verytasty. Mango lemonade also great! Read more

I forgot how much I liked going to Tarka! The garlic naan is flavorful. The curry fries are crispy. This is where I started... liking Korma as my favorite curry! It?s not going to be the most authentic Indian food you can find in Austin, but it?s a quick, clean fix of it. The shrimp and chicken are the same price, just $11.50, so it was a steal for the amount of tastiness you gotin that bowl. Medium doesn?t have much spice but is still delicious. Service is fast and seating is spacious. Would come again! Read more

I would say that this is the fast food of Indian food. The food is okay, it?s nothing to write home about. There are plenty of... other Indian food restaurants in the area that offer better/more authentic food. Read more

I?ve been a regular here for about 7 years. Food is always on point. I usually order the samosas, matar paneer and the grilled... chicken plate. Their mango juice is delicious. I don?t know how ?authentic? it is, as I?ve never been to India. Thank you Tarkafor yummy food at affordable prices ?? and great service. Read more

If you enjoy Indian cuisine, don?t come here. The samosas were frozen in the middle, the Naan are not fresh in any way, and the... food truly lacks flavor. We couldn?t tell the difference between the tills sauce and the Coconut curry because of the lack ofspices. We ordered extra to take home and we shouldn?t have. Read more

We didn't ask for Togo but they gave us a Togo order. The lady instead of apologizing, just gave us a plate and didn't even... talk. It felt like we were super unwelcomed. The food is awful. The korma is sweet like a dessert and the chicken kabab had notaste. The restaurant sucks ! Read more

Naan was more like pita bread. They brought us new samosas since ours were ice cold in the middle. Lacks flavor, Americanized... Indian food. Whoever made the meat needs to stop. Lots of fat and the ?lamb? was super dry, it didn?t even glide off the skewer. Read more

Great tasting food that is easily ordered and paid for online. The pick up area is clearly defined and the staff is always... attentive. It?s always busy, so you know the food is fresh, but I?ve never had to wait for to To-Go. Great job Tarka, you?ve gota new regular customer. 10/10 would recommend. Read more
