They serve reheated food. We were only of the only 2 tables occupied out of 15-20 tables available. We ordered a vegetarian... platter and the food was not tasty at all. So were the samosas we ordered. Reheated samosas. I don’t know how the reviews saythat the service was excellent. To be honest the service was average and I felt at times we felt we were hurried and at times wefelt the service was very slow. Came here with a lot of expectation only to come out with disappointment. Read more

Great place for a quick lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Lamb Tibbs were tender and full of flavor with just the right amount of... spice. Combo plate with the eggplant added a great variety to the lunch. Great value and pleasant atmosphere. Read more

Food was great. Served family style so get ready to share. They were out of some of the things on the menu which is the only... reason it is 4/5. Staff was friendly, but on the slow side considering the place was basically empty when we went. If you are inthe area it is worth a visit, wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here. Read more

Very calm and peaceful environment to enjoy a meal in. My server, Hanna, was such a joy to interact with and she definitely... complemented my experience. I wanted to try food that I couldn’t make myself at home, and the items I ordered definitelysatisfied that goal - especially the Sambusa with lentils. Highly recommend as a place for a date! And yes, the vegan optionsare plentiful. Would be nice to see some more vegan options! Read more

Had a lentil veggie and a ground meat dish. Enjoyed both. Service was a bit slow at first (hardly anyone there on a Fri at 6 and... saw customers leave because of this). But friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. Read more

I never stay for coffee and dessert but felt so taken care of by the staff I let myself indulge. Highly recommend as a date... night. The food sharing experience is delightful. Also has a nice selection of vegetarian options so your veggie friendswon’t feel dissed with a side salad. Read more

Honestly this was one of my favorite dining experiences in Austin so far. The food was so flavorful and delicious and our server... Miriam (the sister of the owner) was so sweet, helpful, fun, and just a great host. I can’t wait to come back! Read more

Extremely disappointed by the food I received as takeout. I've eaten here for years and have noticed the decline in quality... recently. I understand the pandemic has affected all of us so deeply so I want to cut everyone some slack and I mean no harm bythis review. My intention is to bring awareness to the level of care and attention that each of us brings to everything we do,including the state of mind we have when we cook or serve food that will nourish the bodies that consume it. Specifically thegreens (2 dishes) were spiced outrageously so that they were inedible and they also tasted on the verge of spoiling. Theportions were sadly minimal. I paid $25 for the vegetarian sampler, which in house might be acceptable because the presentationis so beautiful. However, as a take out dish in half full plastic containers, the value is extremely lowered. Even if I had paidhalf of the price, I would not have been satisfied with the quality. This is the 3rd try on the sampler and I will never orderit again.. the only dish worth its salt is the shir wot, even though I noticed it's quality has declined also. Adding water? tothin out a dish does nothing for its quality and maybe keeps employees paid and the lights on- an immediate bandaid. You maylose some customers for the long haul. The entire meal pictured was $68. I myself am shocked and saddened. Please try to Keepyour hearts open and ask for miracles so you, your employees, business and families can thrive.. we all CAN still thrive. Keepthe faith and make an effort to do better. Your intentions matter. Bless you. Read more
