Torchy's Tacos embodies the bridge between Austin BBQ and fresh Mexican food. I tried the Republican and the crossroads as well... as their famous Queso and chips. Local Austinite who has supported Torchy's for years. They have seriously gone downhill? they upped their prices and give WAY... less on the tacos? significantly less, as you can see in the photo I attached. They also got our order wrong on every taco so..Disappointing. We probably won?t be going back to Torchy?s - Velvet Tacos on Austin has the same price but they LOAD up thetacos and have comparable quality ingredients. Go there. Read more
A little pricey but really delicious. Got the beef fajita & chicken fajita. Beef steaks is tender with sweet and juicy grilled... onion and red pepper on top. First time visiting here and was super hesitant to try these different tacos. It's not the typical taco that I'm familiar with.... But my goodness I was surprised!! Absolutely delicious and my entire party annihilated their food. It was quite busy at therestaurant during lunch hour, and the staff still took the time to explain it for a first timer here. I went for my lunch break for a taco 6 bucks for a taco! It didn't even have 2 of the things on it plus I paid for avacodo that... was not on there either. I realized this after getting back to work. So I didn't have time to go back. I will never go back.Look at this sorry $6 taco. Read more
