Everything about Trulucks is amazing. Top notch service. From the beginning of your night to after, they go out of their way to... make sure you are happy. I've been here for special events and they make sure to help keep it special. We had a few managerscome to our table and wish us a happy anniversary. We even got a special dessert. As usual, the BEST food, the BEST service. Terrill (forgive my spelling, I didn't get to see his tag) was a joker, and extremely... professional at the same time - a true talent! Really, he could NOT have been better (unless he picked up the check. Ba dumbum! Cymbal crash - tribute to him!) (The small details - back lit menus!! Although we aren't very "up there" in years yet,having that little bit of light in a romantic, darker setting, was a real treat. Thank you!) We had the fabulous lobsterbisque (LOBSTER BISQUE lobster morsels, horseradish goat cheese) and a Jumbo Lump Crab Cake for appetizer. We hadn't been herein 2.5 years due to pandemic - yes, we over did it! Ha Husband has the SESAME SEARED TUNA, w aparagas, tamari reduction. Prepared to perfection! Although not a vegetarian, I decided to try the ROASTED CAULIFLOWER STEAK mashed cauliflower,asparagus, yellow tomato "béarnaise". What a fantastic treat! (I know! Wonderful establishment. Fantastic servers and management who will often visit your table to check in. They are all known for... having their own stone claw crab fisheries. The crab is chilled and cracked. The hot rolls are dreamy. The steak mushrooms aredelightful with great flavor. The salads and crab cakes are fully loaded with deliciousness. Believe the hype! High end experience that delivers. The sea bass on a bed of crab fried rice is so tasty, and the scallops are... also terrific. Above all is the level of service. This is five diamond, Kohler level service and those sometimes small, extratouches speak volumes. A perfect place for an anniversary celebration. Wonderful! Read more

We ordered a little bit of everything off of the menu and it was absolutely spectacular! The steaks, the crab, the tuna, the... oysters! One of each side as well and they were all perfect perfect perfect! Also, I am pregnant and they were so accommodatingby making delicious mock tails for me to enjoy! Ryan was an amazing waiter; All of the staff were so kind and professional, therestaurant and bathrooms were clean and well kept. The music was tasteful and the ambiance was great. Upscale seafood restaurant with delicious food. The service was excellent and the ambiance too. After getting water the server... brought a plate of lemon, cucumber, and orange slices to add to your water. The ambiance had floral decorations and even lightedmenus. My appetizers included the calamari and also oysters. The sauces served with both dishes were quite delicious. I likedthe sweet and sour sauce on my calamari but the buttermilk sauce was very good too. On the oysters I added the cocktail sauceand mixed in horseradish for that extra kick. There was also a champagne based sauce which was also very good. I had the seabass served on top of crab fried rice as my main entree. The bass had no bones and it easily flaked apart when I put my forkinto it. The restaurant has a large selection of wines as well as mixed drinks. The place has a dress code so please adhere totheir requirements. It is clean and managed professionally. Our server was Lauren and the Beverage Manager was Fernando. If youare looking for an upscale seafood restaurant please stop and experience the ocean's finest at Trulucks. One tip if you areusing the restaurant on Research Blvd, and coming from the north. Don't use the U-turn lane but take the 2nd from the left turnto enter. The drive is very close to the corner and to get over can be difficult from the U-turn lane. Read more

Called ahead of time (while drive towards) and guessing it's the weekday, so was able to get a table. Definitely on the fancy... side and I felt a bit under dressed as I just finished doing some house work and it went straight for dinner. Ordered somefancy appetizers and was not impressed. Most of us got steaks, I think the aged New York was better than the prime. Butoverall meat quality was just not there. I frequent many steakhouse and this is subpar to House of Prime Ribs in SF, Eddy's,and Carve here in Austin. Our server was very good and the environment was very nice. Plenty of parking as well.
