Great atmosphere and Food! Service is always up to par. Visiting Austin for the weekend and decided to have lunch here. Sammy... our waitress was awesome?makes all the difference! Beautiful day for patio seating, watched the game with some cocktails. Thelobster noddle and steak bowl is always a hit. Top it off with that brownie cookie and vanilla ice cream?-absolutelydelightful! They even asked us what game we?d like to watch so they can accommodate our seating area. After a long day that the lake we were just ready to eat and sleep, this is the only place we found closed a bit later so we... decided to stop by since we love Yard House in Houston. The hostess said the table would be ready in an hour so we waited but weonly waited about 5 minutes which we were happy about. Our server was very nice, knowledgeable and attentive. Definitely recommend having reservations before you head there. The waitlist was an hour and a half. Had a great experience with our family at Yard House while out at the Domain, and the food was very good as well. Our hostess... was fantastic! We really enjoyed our lunch here. The cheese curd was amazing. It went so fast we forgot to get a picture. Wehad the Fish and Chips, Tacos, BBQ Burger with Sweet Potatoe Fries, and Carnivore Pizza. Read more
Good food. Great atmosphere. Lots of beer options. Indoor and outdoor seating. The poke salad was dynamite as were the... firecracker shrimp. They have suggested beer pairings with every entree which is a nice touch. They serve beer in 'yard' longglasses as well if you are interested in indulging. Our server was incredible, very friendly helpful and on top of it. The food was delicious, hot and fresh! It was a Tuesday night... so it was not busy at all, we walked in and for a table right away. They have vegetarian options, gluten free options and itseemed like everything in between as well. I ordered carne asada street tacos and cheese curds. All of it was fabulous, howevermy spicy rice was kind of squishy and soggy. The meat in the tacos was tender and the avocado sauce was so good and flavorfuland the cheese curds were light and fluffy. We went to eat at this restaurant because of the happy hour specials. It was not crowded at all around 4pm ish. There is a... variety of happy hour appetizers to choose from. We ordered the blackened ahi sashimi, fried calamari, boneless wings, chickenlettuce wrap, and the sliders. The fried calamari and the blackened ahi sashimi were my favorites. The calamari was crispy andchewy like others that I have had. The sashimi had a smoky taste to it and it was complimented with a not very salty soymixture with a little of wasabi. The chicken lettuce wrap mixture had tofu in it as well. The food was good, service was good,and the price for happy hours were good.
