Food we got was great, but... Said "we don't do gorgonzola wings in Avalon", even though they were on the menu. Ok,... fine. Wouldn't honor a 15% off takeout coupon... said "we stopped taking them during the summer", despite the coupon beingvalid through July 15, 2022. They have great pizza. But lousy business ethics. I'm not that upset over what would have been a$7 discount. It's the principle. I have no tolerance for dishonesty. Read more

Ordered online and went to pick it up. Arrived right at our pickup time but there were a few people ahead in line. By the time I... got to the front it was 5 minutes past our pickup time. Gave the guy my name our order #. After stumbling around looking insidemultiple pizza boxes it was obvious something was wrong. He tells me it will be a few minutes and starts helping people behindme. While this is happening another couple come in with a pizza box and claims they were given the wrong pizza. The guy thenhands them their correct pizza and give the pizza maker the box the couple just brought in. The guy feels it to see if it’swarm, throws the pizza back in the oven for a minute, takes it out and puts some toppings on it. That was our 3rd missing pizza.After telling the gentleman I didn’t want the used pizza he assured me it wasn’t that one and sent me off. After gettinghome, it was that one because there was a pile of arugula on it. So we had 2 cold pizzas that were sitting out for over 20minutes and a used pizza. Save your money and go else where. Only half our order got delivered and when we called the store we were told the driver was on it's way with the second half but... once we called the driver he said he knew nothing of the issue. We called back several times only to be lied to over and overagain. The second half of the order came after another hour of waiting which was useless since our kid had to go to bed and whowants to get their family dinner delivered an hour apart. The driver just rang the doorbell and left the food on the steps as hedidn't want to be confronted. We were promised a follow up from the owner which hasn't happened. I actually have picked up pizza from here and it was very tasty and if you like a crisp in the crust you'll like. However, their... online ordering and delivery service is abysmal. We placed an online order with an expect delivery time. After it was 15minslate from the ETA we called to just check in, and were told "they were doing the best they can", which I can respect but thenwas immediately and abruptly hung-up on. Then it took another 15 minutes to get the pizza. It came a total of 30 mins after theproposed delivery time and was very cold and soggy. Read more

Great little place on Dune Drive. We had a late lunch on Sunday. Cesar Salads and a Large Margherita Pizza. These were the 2... best menu items I have eaten in a looooong time. We ate here in early April on a weekend. We were thrilled to have this delicious pizza come to Avalon. We raved to our family... and when we had s full house tonight we ordered the calamari and shrimp appetizer, mussels and assorted pizzas. Pizza wasnearly inedible. Calamari had no shrimp. Pizza with sausage and mushrooms had no mushrooms. Margarita pizza had no basil anddisgusting cheese. We won’t be back. Hopefully family members will forgive us!!! . Read more

Awful service....two of our four meals were served after about a half hour from ordering. The other two took an additional hour... (paninis). We took our paninis to go because half of our table had been done eating for near an hour . We were not told of anydelay until I requested our order to go. Only then, I was told there was a problem in the kitchen, sorry. No compensation, andan incorrect bill the first time. Upon entering and be seated before 7p, there was only two other tables of guests, not busy.Upon leaving at 830, not an open seat. Additional info- so I just got home with my panini and I have crust with cheese andtomato slices. They forgot to put pesto and basil on my panini . my husband ordered a veal panini and it's chicken! May 5, ordered a pizza for pick up. Not one of their standard menu pizzas. “ I would like to order a large pizza with cheese,... Italian sausage, pepperoni, and fresh baby spinach” Asked: Do you want tomato base? Yes. A number of questions about my orderthat should not have been needed and have never been asked at any other time that I have ordered pizzas anywhere. When I pickedup the pizza there was no cheese at all on the pizza. So I called to speak with the manager. I was told he wasn’t there and Icould leave a message. I asked for the manager’s name and was told that she could not give that to me. I insisted again and aman came on the line. I gave him the above info. He said he would get me another pizza which I declined. I said that I wasconcerned that if these things were not corrected they would suffer this summer when business would demand normal pizza service.He told me not to worry about his business and focus on ordering the right pizza. Apparently the wrong order was my fault nottheirs. So I don’t make any more mistakes I will not be returning to this Pizza? Joint. I will also not be recommending theplace. Read more
