We (a table of 7 with reservations) waited an hour before the waiter took our order. It was near impossible to get our... server’s attention. Eventually he took our order (did not mention the specials, although he did to other tables). The foodtook another hour. Finally the waiter returned with a check, did not mention dessert either. It seemed like he was just tryingto usher us out. To top it all off, multiple other tables gave their orders and recieved their food in the time we were waitingfor our server to even greet us. We suspect the poor treatment is due to the resturant being discriminatory towards us (that orthey were giving special treatment to literally everyone in the resturant except for us). Regardless, I would not come back. Read more

We were staying in Stone Harbor and met a gentlemen from Avalon that recommended this place and we are glad we listened. Great... food and great service. We had the gorgonzola gnocchi and the ravioli special and everything was fantastic. Thank you! Read more
August 5th, 2021 we had dinner at La Vecchia Fontana. The food was amazing!! My salmon was done to perfection & I'm extremely... picky, the Shrimp & crab ravioli, were to die for!! An amazing experience!! They were short staffed but Mario, our server, wasabsolutely great. He worked his butt off and our service was great. He alone handled all the tables and it was at full capacitywithout a blip! Job well done MARIO!! We will definitely return again!! Read more

Good food with friends. Very bad experience. Bad service, slow kitchen , no hostess. If we had been there by ourselves I would... have walked out. Never get the specials unless you want to throw away 39.95. Pasta 3 scallops and 5 thin slices of sausage39.95. Order off the menu prices average 24.00 to 28.00 Server took order and we never saw again. Had to ask bus person to findsomeone to bring our check after waiting for 30 minutes for a server to stop by the table. Never offered coffee or dessert. Read more
