Dinner never disappoints. We were a large party of 10 and they handled perfectly. Food gets better every time we go. Kids loved... chicken parm. Bruschetta and spinaci salad were a hit. Loved my veal parm with vodka sauce! We will be back later this week isthat good. Read more
The bread, salad and main courses ( a ‘special’ of little pastas stuffed with ricotta, shrimp and crab and the other was... crab and angel hair pasta) were amazing!! Big portions!! ( it is BYOB) The service was exceptional!!!! Ask for Rachel!!! Shewas attentive and friendly. Gave great advice and assistance as we ordered! We will go back!!! My group of 6 thought this restaurant deserved a 3.9 rating. For an Italian restaurant, first of all, there needs to be good,... crusty bread. The one they served was underwhelming. We also brought wine but did not receive clean glasses until about 20minutes into our time. There were a few other things but not worth mentioning. Overall, Rachel our waitress was great. I gave Polpo 3 stars because the food was good. The service however was horrendous. Our server was not attentive at all and we... had to ask to order our dinner. He also made mistakes with other dessert order. Im addition, he did not have our table set upuntil we were sitting there for awhile. Our table was outside which was nice. I went inside to use the restroom and theatmosphere indoors was dreary and dark. The bathrooms were filthy, with no toilet paper in either bathroom and one of thebathroom faucets did not work so we could not wash our hands. That’s disgusting since two servers came out of the bathroomwhile we were waiting on line to use them. The whole experience was disappointing. The owners should renovated and get betterpeople to work for them. Don’t think we will go back. Read more

My wife and I read some reviews that weren't too great but we decided that on the recommendation of friends we would go to this... restaurant. We were not disappointed I don't know what the problem was in the past but if there was one it's been corrected. Thefood was terrific our waitress Valerie did a wonderful job.. I had the Osobuco and my wife had a salad that was fabulous. Thefood, service and ambience were all wonderful. We will definitely go back. Read more
Had a wonderful dinner at Polpo this evening! The cuisine was excellent, however, what made the night complete was our waitress... Valerie. Was very attentive but never a bother. Her recommendations were spot on and as an added bonus, a wonderful personality!We will most definitely return! Read more
