Outstanding breakfast! Omelette (western) about the best I’ve had!! Good fresh squeezed OJ always a treat. Service very good... too which isn’t easy late summer on 7 mile island. Really nice outdoor/ porch dining space. . Highly recommend, (Don’t miss their quizzo nights either !) Read more

We decided we would take a trip back to the Rocking Chair. It has been years since we have been there. And....it was ok. Food is... average. Not nearly as good as it should be for the price. Crab balls were over done. Taste of the crab meat was good. Friedgrouper tacos were fried correctly and salsa was fresh. GF crust Old Bay crab pizza was tasty. Service at our table was not veryfriendly...she was quick though. When we sat at the bar afterwards...that was fabulous. Bar tender was friendly and mixed anawesome dirty martini. The menu on line is not what you see when you arrive. Lots of items were missing...some things that I waslooking to try..were not on the printed menu. But overall...I would go back to the bar for drinks and light fare. Read more

I give 4.9 stars: I don't mind, and expect, the gratuity tobe added automatically for 8 or more guests, BUT I find it obnoxious to put a 20% tip onto the NJ sales tax. Read more
