Jackie was attentive and informative about the menu. The scallops were very tasty and the right sized portion with 4 of them.... Short ribs were tender and tasty. Love the BYOB portion and Jackie was happy to keep opening the bottles. Look forward toreturning! Read more

This place is absolutely amazing! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, everything is fabulous and great value. Fresh... ingredients, excellent service (shout out to Patrick, you are the best) , and great atmosphere. This is a must go, if your inAvalon or even an hour away, worth the trip! Completed dated.... The paper on top of white table cloths should of been our first sign of an interesting dining... experience. Dense bread with a sugar mess on the tables was our second 2nd sign. It went down hill from there. We got thestarter wedge (iceberg lettuce) was disappointing to say the least. Following the barnegat scallops which was okay as a base butwas made way to sweet. Lovely outdoor garden at the Diving Horse made me feel comfortable to truly enjoy the wonderful dining experience. Food was... delicious and beautifully prepared, and service was friendly and efficient. Went back again the following week and enjoyed thesame meal again! Read more
Farm to table at its finest! Dine indoor or out! anything but pretentious ambience and best of all, BYOB! If you’re looking... for the best server (in our opinion) ask for Anna. From tuna to steak and the catch of the day, the chef here will keep youguessing but trusting them will be the tastiest decision you’ll make all week! Avalon is home to some incredible eats but ifyou frequent and haven’t yet checked out this spot, stop in and pig out! Read more
Wife has gluten issues, we were told menu was basically gluten free but she was very sick next day so they did not check with... the chef to be sure her dishes were GF as we were told they would. Read more
